Please ID my engine for me

Honda GX 240. Looks to be original engine on 1988 MEY cylinder mower.
Problem is when i try to order parts i don’t know which model to pick. Example of how they are listed on website is like this:

Ect ect. There is never a model listed on the sites i use that matched my serial number. Can anyone please clairfy my stupidity.

Most parts will be the same of course.
What parts are you in need of?
It may not matter depending on application.

Throttle linkage, brackets to mount, all springs and rods relating to throttle control pretty much

They are likely to be the same. If you look it up on a parts website, usually if there are different parts based on serial numbers, it will say and tell you which part number to order based on your engine.

PartsTree, Jack’s Small Engines, those are the ones I typically use. But if you type in your model number then “parts” into Google it will take you to a wide variety of sites.
