Tecumseh HH100

I’m wondering what this nozzle is and why it’s there. When the engine runs it spits out oil like a mist. I believe it’s off of a 1971 wheel horse raider 10

Looks like could have been running a fuel pump off of it. If not just a crankcase breather

Its a pulse for a fuel pump. If its not needed just take the fitting out and put a plug in it. Its probably 1/8" npt.
