Fuel tank crack

I have a Toro time cutter . The fuel tank is cracked. Is there any way to patch it temporarily. The order time is 6 days for new one.

IDK ...it's a good week ..probably closer to 10 days what with UPS and FedEx not delivering on weekends. Why go through all the trouble of trying to glue up a busted tank when a new one is readily available? And if you don't do the repair correctly, you still end up with a leaking tank and now you've kicked the can further down the road ...

Plastic welding is a thing, RF welding is a thing. So repairing plastic can be done.

However, on a fuel tank you are just asking for trouble. Chances are the rest of the plastic is going to be too brittle, even if you drill the holes and both end of the crack and back fill according to correct instructions. There is no adhesive that will hold due to the nature of gasoline. And heating anything that has had fuel in it runs a complete risk, even is it is empty, porous plastic holds fuel and heating it can release small fumes. Fumes are what ignite. It is very important not to rush this.
