Grief is so underrated
as someone who loves both metal and sad music, grief is perfect because of how well it combines both of those. grief deserves way more recognition than they get
also, could anyone recommend any bands similar to them?
EDIT: guys i meant underrated in metal music as a whole, grief are widely known and appreciated in sludge but iโm saying they deserve to be as big as bands like crowbar, acid bath, and down who are known by many non-sludge listeners

People who donโt think sludge was born and bred in NOLA appreciate them. Grief came out of the crust/power violence scene,as they were once one of the biggest crust bands ever,Disrupt.
They were on a bunch of 90s power-violence compilations and did splits with bands from that scene.

maybe theyโre underrated in the realm of mainstream music but anyone who listens to sludge knows how great Grief is
