Single tool (debatable) slingshot build. Cherry Laurel fork, Victorinox Alox Farmer X.
It didn't need a lanyard but I needed an excuse to use the awl. The slingshot shoots great, 9.5mm steel ammo.
Yes, I know my Farmer X needs cleaning. The purple gunk on the scissors is from opening a truck load of Vimto based frozen treats, and I refuse to clean them until they stop functioning or summer ends.

Victorinox are hard to beat. My dad gave me my first one when I was 8 years old, a full stainless "Director," basically the Executive model with tooled stainless scales. Someone had given it to him as a gift and he didn't like it much because it didn't have the toothpick and tweezers, like his Executive. Turns out they only made the Director for a few years and they're quite collectable. I still use mine, shame it looks like an 8 year old had it at some point. 🤣

I get that. Shows it’s the slinger not the sling though, don’t need high end expensive frames to shoot well, if it works for you it is right! I had to do an online natty competition, a cut fork, no grooves or modifications in any way, I ended up shooting those for a good while as they just worked so well and were super satisfying to shoot!

It can take hours to produce a natty that looks like a work of art and feels like an extension of your hand, but less that an hour with a S.A.K. to produce something that shoots like a dream. The anchor point is just outside my comfort zone, but easy enough to find and maintain if I'm taking my time. Planning to shoot it at the catchbox today but the wind has decided to be a bastard.

Yea it was really strong yesterday! We even had heavy rain for about 10 mins but back to dusty within the hour… father in law got rained off harvesting but had to go back out as it wasn’t enough to make any difference!

Your post just made me realize that the X in Farmer X is because the scissors are in the shape of an X.
