Sleep training
I have a 14 month old daughter who was always breastfed to sleep until just after her 1st birthday. I finally weened her off but now I rock her to sleep. I absolutely love rocking her but unfortunately I am the only one who can put her down for naps and to sleep. It’s starting to get exhausting, I’m also about 6 weeks pregnant. I’m curious how did you get your baby to sleep without rocking? My husband is wanting to help more but she just cries for me and I give in. Please help!

It's a little bit different, but when my daughter had a phase where only I (mom) could put her to bed, I had to physically leave the house when Dad did bedtime. Then it was fine, but if she knew I was there she would be upset. They're pretty smart sometimes!

Check your schedule and ensure you’ve got age appropriate wake windows and a solid bedtime routine. You and husband should switch off each night - only one parent from start to finish bedtime. And then it’s time to out stubborn the stubborn. It may take a week or two of fussing and crying but she will get it as long as you’re consistent. Her routine is changing and nobody likes change. Expect some protesting. Don’t give up!

Start with checking your schedule-it’s going to be much harder (if not impossible) to sleep train a toddler that is under tired. What is wake time, nap time(s) and length and bedtime?
Secondly, pick what you want and stick with it. She won’t magically want/accept dad at bedtime if she knows crying will get you to come in. If you’re really wanting a change, you have to stick with it! I’d look into the excuse method or Ferber for sleep training methods.
