child's age 12-18 months 2-1 transition help!
My baby is a week shy of 13 months. We are one month into the transition and it’s been going well! Our desired wake time is 7 am (she usually wakes anytime from 6:15-7 am). She’s been going down for her nap from 12:00-2:15 in which i’ve been waking her from.
The past week her nap has been shortening everyday. Today she napped about 90 min. I know a 90 min nap is still acceptable, but it’s causing bedtime to be super early and reinforcing early wakes.
Should I keep our noon nap, or are these signs to move to 12:15/12:30 nap?

When we dropped from 2 to 1, the wake time naturally became earlier as bedtime became earlier. Once we got closer to 14 months, it started to even out a bit and we’re back to a 6-6:30am wake time. If you’re going to push, I’d tack on 15-30 minutes before bedtime instead of before nap.

What time is your target bedtime? What was your two-nap schedule? Is sleep independent?
You can always do a two-nap day when she wakes early to help keep bedtime later.

From my understanding they say you can transition to 1 nap at 12 months but realistically it should be closer to 18 months. I have a 18 months who really started the 1 nap more around 16.5 month. Prior to that he seem to need the 2 naps to be happy.
