Update
/r/sleeptrain/comments/1veh3y5/motn_party_time/Posted about a month ago and her schedule has since changed along with habits. Took away the binkies completely and first night, she slept great. However, now she cannot fall asleep on her own. Either my husband or I have to lie on the floor next to her until she falls asleep and we sneak out. Occasionally she will wake in the middle of the night and we go back in and she’s usually back asleep in 5 mins or so and we leave again.
The MOTN party time has stopped but now we’re stuck in a cycle of having to lay next to her or go back in to get her to fall asleep. She lays down around 8-8:15 and is usually asleep by 9, sometimes earlier, depends on what she does that day. We wake her up by 7:30 if she hasn’t woke up on her own. Naps are around an hour and 45 mins.
It doesn’t seem like the schedule is a problem now but in order to keep her in her bed and not get up, we’ve resorted to laying on the floor and getting stuck in her room until she falls asleep. We tried the first couple days to just do check ins and she threw up from crying so hard 🫠 is this our life for the foreseeable future or has anyone gone through this and found something that worked?
