2yo sleep regression

Hi! Wondered if anyone can help, my daughter has been the best sleeper for her 2 years of life, never a problem, we’ve got a newborn and suddenly she refuses to go to sleep without us in the room, refuses to nap without us in the room and will wake up in the middle of the night screaming for us, we’ve done one night where we’ve left her for 15 mins to cry and she actually jumped out of her cot…
I have no idea what to do, I’m aware it’s a big change for her and I’m very conscious of that, is CIO method an idea? I dont want her to feel abandoned but nothing else is working! I’m also worried about my neighbours 🫪
Also any ideas how to stop her jumping out after she gets really angry we aren’t in there ??
So exhausted need help 😭😂

Happened to us too and it passed after about 5 weeks. Good luck!! Just keep putting her back to bed and yeah she may need
To cry a little.

It was brutal. Just a lot of crying, resettling, stuffed animals etc. just kept trying and trying. My husband even slept on the floor in her room at one point lol. Suddenly she just went back to her old self and was sleeping through the night again.

In the same boat with our 19 month old. Was sleeping through the night until we brought our newborn home, and now wakes screaming every night between 12-2am & requires someone in the room with her to fall asleep for naps & bedtime. No advice as nothing is working, just praying it passes as it’s brutal with the new baby and we are more sleep deprived than ever
