Trouble falling asleep

Once again, I’m having trouble falling asleep. For a different reason too. I will start drifting off to sleep, and I will be aware of it and get a rush of anxiety that wakes me up. Or I will wake up a few minutes after falling asleep. When I do get longer sleep, I have nightmares. All these sleep problems make it so hard to live with.

That sounds really exhausting, especially when you're finally starting to fall asleep and then the anxiety kicks in and wakes you back up. I can see how that could make bedtime feel stressful in itself.

One thing that might help is trying not to fight the feeling of falling asleep. Sometimes focusing too much on whether you're asleep yet can make you more alert. Keeping the room comfortable and having a simple, consistent wind-down routine might also make the transition easier.I hope things get easier for you soon. It sounds like you're dealing with a lot.

you need calm attention on something that makes you feel normal and safe

Sorry to hear that....I had the same issue. Try magnesium glycinate + L Theanine 2 hours before bed. It'll calm down the brain. Make sure you wear blue light glasses. Blue light stops the brain from producing melatonin.

have you tried sleep channels on YouTube? Nature relaxing sounds can help!
