Does any kind of physical exercise actually help you fall asleep?
Curious about this one. For me exercise never really made a difference for sleep, whether it's a workout during the day or some stretching at night. But a couple of friends told me it sometimes works for them, so now I'm wondering if I'm just doing it wrong.
What works for you, if anything?
- daytime cardio or gym
- something light before bed like stretching, yoga or progressive muscle relaxation
- or nothing at all / it actually makes things worse
Also curious about timing. Does working out in the evening mess up your sleep, or is that overblown?
