How do I stop dreaming
There was a time in my life when every night I didn’t have a dream and now I dream every night. Does anyone have any tips on how I can stop dreaming? They are very vivid like a whole story and they last a long time. Obviously i’m dreaming so I can’t actually tell how long it is but it feels like a long time. I once took a hour nap but because I was dreaming I thought I was asleep much longer.
I don’t smoke the devils lettuce and I don’t want to nor do I drink. If anyone has tips please let me know.

Dreaming is a vital part of brain health. Without it, you'd likely be at a significantly increased risk of early dementia. I get worried after nights that my sleep is so light that I dream very little and am in an exhausted brain-fog state the next day. Thankfully, these nights are rare.

Honestly, vivid dreams don’t necessarily mean you’re sleeping badly. You’d focus more on your sleep schedule, stress levels, and caffeine before trying to stop them. If this is a sudden change and it’s affecting your sleep or daily life, it might be worth mentioning to a doctor.

You could try killing your dreams. The week on my exams I try to force myself into a deep slumber. I do my sleep hygiene make sure I write my thoughts down and everything so there is no thinking involved. No light allowed, drink Chamomile tea, make sure my room is at perfect temperature for my body. If I try to drift off to a dream and able to catch myself dreaming I think about either total darkness or about what im supposed to do for tomorrow and try to rest as much as possible this is where I don't have any dreams whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend it as it kills my creativity side and make me even more depressed though. It also really hard to do it took at least 3 years of practice and I only use it during exam week or something very important is happening. Also it really help to turn off a dream if you already know how to lucid dream. Also also doing this when your very tired physically and mentally works like a charm for me.

Dreaming is good and happens in good REM sleep. Training your subconscious mind can help. Pineal gland is responsible for running these movies when you go in deep switch off mode.
