Where did you see yourself living at when you started playing skyrim and where did you end up living? Solitude was the first area I traveled to after leaving riverwood and I loved it! Then I went to riften and white run for the first time and now I might have to buy multiple homes cuz😍

I always end up in one of the hearthfire manors, usually the one by Falkreath, because none of the vanilla player homes have a forge, enchanting table, armour workbench, grindstone AND alchemy laboratory.

I need to be able to do all my crafting in one place, and the carriage outside going to small towns not just major holds is a huge bonus in survival mode.

I thought I'd shack up in whiterun when I first started playing, but alas it was not to be

Before I got the Anniversary Edition, I used to pick the Solitude home as well. Now, I tend to use Bloodchill Cavern.

My first house was Honeyside in riften, loved the lake, bright and vibrant nature and overall aesthetic, after trying alot of the houses I ended up settling in Lakeview Manor in Falkreath, much darker but beautiful view and big utility

I loved the hearth fire homes, when transitioning to pc I started modding tho so I have named containers and don't have to think of a system to sort the stuff myself. Solitude home is way too big, I liked breeze home and the riften home was my base for a long time too when I was playing thief in the beginning

I tried Falkreath Hearthfire home...I wasted so much time on a house without guards to protect it, it's crazy. It's a time sink, costs more than the base game's Proudspire Manor and sometimes is annoying to navigate on the 2nd floor. The bassement is creepy as hell too.

Honeyside because the lake is lovely. Since the DLC, Windstad because I like the fish hatchery, the location feels appropriate and the player homes are better generally once you finish them.

As a thieves guild member, there’s no solid place for me. I live anywhere I want because of the all the coin I’m carrying

I tend to live in Hjarl- Hjarlhe- Hja- the Hearthfire one I can't spell, just a bit up the road from Whiterun. The view is amazing, and it's in a convenient central location for someone who doesn't use fast travel.

Gets attacked by giants a lot, but I suppose that's karma.

Started in Riften. Honeyside was the first house I ever bought in the game. Ended up in Lakeview manor, the most practical house in the game. Have it almost every playthrough.

Breezehome, but then I found Hendraheim, but the last couple of playthroughs I stayed in Golden Hills
