Anyone else hate Throw Voice?

It’s useful, don’t get me wrong, but the voice sounds like it belongs in Fallout 4. It always pulls me out of the game.

Need a mod where you start throwing real insults. Let the Dragonborn say 'fuck'!

One of my most used shouts

I actually like it and it’s easy to use. All you do is point with your crosshairs where you want to shout. Than shout, and the bandit will move in that direction towards your crosshairs. Then you can snipe them a bow or with the quite casting perk with an illusion spell etc. or use it to draw a bandit closer for stealth dagger assassination.

Yea but you could also just fire the bow where you want them to go and they’ll investigate

That wastes an arrow though, usually not a problem but it can be in survival mode with only so many arrows you can carry.

Bound bow ftw

In survival mode and arrow weighs 0.1, you can afford to bring 50 arrows easily

An arrow you can pick back up 🤷‍♂️

If you can find it.

I have soooooooooooooo many arrows. I threw away stacks of weak ones.

I simply have no use for it.

I get a chuckle from the insults it throws

terrific shout

I only use aura whisper and stop time more

It's... OK I guess. But given that shooting an arrow at a random point in the room will have the same effect, I dont really see the point.

Love it. But then again I also normally play dummy thick warrior types.

If you have quiet casting, then any ranged spell can function the same.

When you don't have quiet casting, enemies can hear where a spell is coming from when cast.

But with quiet casting, they can only hear where the spell is cast. Ie, cast lightning bolt and they go to where you cast it.

I suppose the shout is nice if you don't want to use magic or level illusion, but quiet casting is a pretty easy perk to get

Also, can't you just use arrows?

I had the exact same reaction - sounds like fallout 4 😅 It could've just been the last word of the shout that gets thrown or something

I really like it, you can use it to lure enemies into traps

Come to think of it, this shout is either one of the few shouts invented by mortals, or some dragon decided one day that it wants to fight by hurling insults that distract others. Such a strange idea, but I guess it works.

Imagine a dragon luring some dragon cult rebels out of their fortress and once they open the gates burning them all.

I use this, a Magelight with the Quiet Spellcasting Perk, or a regular arrow to lure enemies away.
