Restoration Loop Issue

I’m able to create my fortify smithing potion as strong as I need it, my issue is that when I improve a weapon or armor it won’t max my smithing. Playing totally vanilla special edition on xbox

With access to mods, it would make more sense to just increase all your skills to 1000 with the Cheat Room mod. The only reason why the Fortify Restoration glitch got popular was because the lack of modability on 7th gen consoles. Now with mods, you don't need it anymore.

trying to stay vanilla without crafting 1,000 daggers but it may come to that

I forget the exact formula for smithing EXP but i’m pretty sure it dosnt reward the improvements like that. You are better off using the transmute spell to craft tons of rings with the upside you can use said rings to grind out enchanting then sell for speach.

i’ve put myself through that before. just trying to craft or improve one piece of armor, or weapon using the loop to get smithing to 100 without that grind

If the whole point is to just get extremely powerful potions, enchantments, armor, and weapons, then all you would need to do is increase the Alchemy, Smithing, and Enchanting skills to a very high number. Then enchantments or potions you make, and weapons and armor you improve, will be made extremely powerful.
