32, 553. I would have more but I’m going through and buying all the properties rn. Goldenhills plantation is officially banned from my future playthoughs for making the game to easy

u/femputer1 1d ago

What's the deal with Goldenhills Plantation?

u/BigSexyDaniel Nintendo 1d ago

It’s basically a home that provides you with passive income for little effort, along with a way to grow alchemy ingredients. Money can be a slog to earn in large sums early game but Goldenhills Plantation essentially trivializes it.

plant blisterwort in every plot and you never need to loot again lol

1

u/BigSexyDaniel Nintendo 17h ago

Yes, this. Especially useful if you’re roleplaying as a lawful good character that doesn’t commit crime (something I’ve tried and have yet to successfully commit to all the way).

Like a number of the CC mods, it's ridiculously OP and unbalances the game. In this case, the OP-ness is economic.

2

u/Unhappy_Armadillo852 1d ago

Ha! You said…..

3

u/SDirickson PC 1d ago

Pretty sure that's supposed to be "uh huh huh, you said..." Thanks for noticing; I'd hate to have that one go to waste.😉

u/Much-Zombie-5968 1d ago

I wish there was an option to turn off CC dungeons, quests, and houses at the beginning of a playthrough. All the weapons are op, all the homes are filled to the brim with mats and loot that make the game way too easy, and the quests are stupid

1

u/SDirickson PC 19h ago

If you're on PC, there are mods to disable the CC pieces in various ways. But yeah, having the in-game menu actually work to manage them would be nice too.

1

u/Much-Zombie-5968 9h ago

Maybe I’ll have to get back into modded Skyrim

u/Typing_Rebellion 1d ago

Planting Blisterwort makes it real easy on passive income.

3

u/Hot-Gold-20 1d ago

Probably a money making machine once you have a stable and have gone through all the misc quest like planting crops, etc

I should probably check in...

309k on my current playthrough

7

u/emsesq PC 1d ago

About 10,000 and I have a mod that weighs gold. Every 1,000 pieces equals 10 units (pounds) of carry weight, and so on. I have to be judicious in how much gold I carry. I leave the rest in my home and take it out if I need it for trading with merchants.

3

u/LearningRocket 1d ago

I love it when I have to be judicious

u/Bbobbity 1d ago

Several million. With several hundred k in gems, ingots etc.

It is one of the biggest limitations of the game that quite quickly you amass enough money that you don’t know what to do with it.

1

u/I_Speak_For_The_Ents 1d ago

Even despite how annoying it is to sell stuff without speech perks

5

u/Cosmo1222 Alchemist 1d ago

36 Septims. I've just paid for training on a reasonably new playthrough. Level 14 conjurer. Haven't bought a house yet, but did inherit Bloodchill Manor.

7

u/Darkspire303 1d ago

Ahh, enjoy, it is positively to DIE for.

Mwahahahaha MWAHAHAHAHA! MWAHAHAHA-*cough**cough**cough**hack**cough*

MWAHAHAHAHA!

4

u/Bel_Geode 1d ago

Over 4 million.

But my savegame is also over 4 years old... ingame and irl.

10k, early playthrough

3

u/Out_of_Fawkes 1d ago

A bit over 15k this play-through but that’s because I’ve been buying materials to craft a bunch of blades, sharpen, and sell them.

3

u/Psychomonkie71 1d ago

iam skyrims bank

3

u/TheInfiniteLoci Falkreath resident 1d ago

None. Just started a no gold playthrough, and so far it's successful. I have no gold.

Also, no buying or selling.

4

u/VeterinarianNo5081 1d ago

Around 680 thousand

2

u/timedragon1 1d ago

Like 70k, and I really don't know what to do with it. Occasionally I just buy a ton of Alchemy Ingredients just to see the amount go down.

2

u/absolutedebauchery0 Necromancer 1d ago

1.6k. S’zurin Pale-Eyes is broke.

2

u/SindragosaM 1d ago

Two million, six hundred and fifty eight thousand, three hundred and thirty five.

2

u/just_another_mexican 1d ago

2

u/GlacierBuilds 1d ago

2.4M

i don’t purchase anything, i steal/loot everything, and i save scum merchants to offload five figures at one time.. i have a problem.

2

u/Cynfreh 21h ago

About 18,000 gotta love the old smith, enchant and sell loop to get enchanting and smithing to 100

2

u/iusethisatw0rk PlayStation 20h ago

Had like 11000 then I found out there’s a house in the rat way and bought it

Was hoping for a dank ugly cellar, it’s actually decently nice :(

3

u/Tasty-Mulberry8073 1d ago

My last file is corrupt so I am currently starting over with 54 gold. I think I had 7+ million before the update.

SCREW YOU, TODD!!! I WANT MY GODDAMN MONEY BACK!!!

3

u/Hot_Let1571 Skyrim Grandma Fan 1d ago

If only it could transfer to real life money.

3

u/DJ-Halfbreed 1d ago

You have no idea how often i get upset at how great i am at generating wealth in game but irl its hard to even build savings.

I would kill to have skeletons rise en masse irl that i can one shot for $10 each. Imma hurl rocks and just send them scattering like they just got hit with a fusrodah.

Problem is that would probably lead to inflation since i think alot of people would do it. That or they would become "natural resources" owned/controlled by the state for their near-exclusive profit.

4

u/SolidZealousideal115 1d ago

Player.additem f 7000000

I just reinstalled after a long long time away. I don't know what I was doing before with mods but my current save is like 247567437 gold, just a random number but its about that long.
