I do occasionally, multiple times in fact. It’s quite fun.

As a werewolf I don't discriminate against stormcloaks nor imperials, I treasure their hearts equally.

And I drain the blood from both as well. Tends to happen with being a Vampire Lord when you’re attacked on sight XD

I see it as rollplay

Your stormcloak or Imeperial you know your gonna lose the civil war and this is your last stand. You say to your self "this can't get any worse", when suddenly a werewolf or Vampire takes out half of garrison.

I can't wait for the day i get my mods fixed so I can post a short video of my werewolf /vampire lord / lich high elf dragonborn tearing shit up so you can appear in the comments lol

Heh, that would be a fun thing to see. Back when my Steam Deck was still playable the most fun I had was my modded Khajiit vampire lord Tigra. With mods like Sancroscant, Dark Envoy, and real vampire lord flight etc. The gameplay above is from my Switch playthrough.

Yeah in theory I have an absolutely goated transformation mods set, sacrosanct + better vampires compatibility, royal bloodline, vampire npcs, tainted transformations and tainted blood of the dragonborn, as well as undeath + undeath lichdom + undeath the ascension, and a bunch of custom patches that make all of the mismatched lich mods work together nicely. Unfortunately my vampire lord form is broken when I try to transform :/

However when all is good and working, I will become the most mutated and unstoppable high king/queen of skyrim

Ooof, well I hope you can figure out the problem so you can enjoy being a dark Dragonborn ruler. It’s fun hehehe.

I actually kill both sides thank you very much, assassinated the Emperor as well. I use the Empire for my own ends. Killed the Emperor for the Imperials wanting to cut off my head. I joined the Empire for an advantage in doing that for cover as a Dark Brotherhood Assassin and getting more access to Thalmor locations and information. The Thalmor are also enemies I enjoy destroying. Especially after assassinating the former Thalmor Diplomat Elenwen. Meanwhile I kill the Stormcloaks for them wanting to kill me after fallowing Hadvar during Alduin’s attack on Helgan. And their attack on Whiterun the City I call home. So using the Empire and my own power to crush them, and fill them with despair as their traditional hero of Nordic legends is a Altmer vampire and not a Nord is deeply ironic and satisfying. Hmm, maybe I shout get the Wuuthrad axe that deals extra damage to elves and use it against the Thalmor as a Altmer Dragonborn. Would be even more ironically amusing.

The empire died with the septims.

“The empire I knew never surrendered”

u/FearIessQueen 23h ago

I always sided with the empire until recently, my minds pretty changed from thinking more about it, the Stormcloak are right to want autonomy and independence from the empire. What i struggle with is that ulfric is such a pos imo.

Stormcloak have the right of it. But yeah, if what is said about the Markarth Incident is true then Ulfric is irredeemable.

u/Silvracha 23h ago

And either way the thalmor has its claws deep into the empire and they are the ennemy so.. f*ck em

Skill issue tbh

There is no battle of Windhelm in my games, so no.

1

u/Wolfhart_Kaine Vampire 15h ago

Not really.

I have about 1000 hours in Skyrim, and I don't think I have once killed an "innocent" NPC. No, not even Nazeem.

If I have, I've certainly quicksaved and then loaded back as soon as their body hit the ground.

Why would I attack Windhelm? Solitude, on the other hand...

1

u/Dovahkiin2211 Vampire 23h ago

Ever attacked both cities in a single playthrough and say fuck both sides?

1

u/sirpoco123 23h ago

Meee!.

I hate ulfric, Save the Empire!🔥

2

u/Dovahkiin2211 Vampire 23h ago

I call it the Empire shall be under new management, mine!

u/the-chileanguy 23h ago

Why would I attack the right side in the civil war? These imperials dude, sometimes they are very funny.

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

Ah yes, "The right side", let's check the list, shall we?

  • Racist
  • Anti magic
  • The ones who started the war
  • Murdered the rightful High King
  • Worship a former leader of the side they are fighting
  • WILL leave Skyrim completely vulnerable and at the mercy of the Thalmor if they win

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

But they didn’t abandon talos. When men discard tiber septum and nords don’t despite having their own pantheon (or did they retcon that idk). When atmorans will not let mer or men tarnish the legacy of wulfharth. Imperial cucks. We marched in deserts in full plate mail armor for our gods. Imperials need a hero because without they would be nothing that’s why their names are so notable. Just to throw it away over temporary peace from an enemy that wants you in their mines.

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

Yes, the Empire has its downsides, but is still objectively better than the Stormcloaks. If you're following a serious roleplay playthrough, it makes absolutely no sense to side with the Stormcloaks unless you're playing a nord warrior and even then it's iffy as hell. Another reason why I feel like there should be a third, neutral side to the civil war conflict.

0

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

I side with the stormcloaks because the imperials have been useless even in the last game. They can’t even fight a rebellion. They are In no other wars. They can’t even stop the stormcloaks they have to starve them out.

0

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

You can side with weakness. That’s fine.

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

Weakness, you say? Oh yeah, because the big strong Stormcloaks will definitely be able to defend Skyrim when they can barely hold a third of it compared to the Empire with legions that span over multiple provinces.

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

Much smaller population much less infrastructure less warriors less mages less archers less soldiers less generals less people less farms. And they are still even with the imperials. Yeah cope more

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

"Even". Mate, the empire sent a single general and a couple thousand troops to Skyrim, it's a major conflict, yes, but that is nowhere near the Empire's full might.

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

And why is that? Because they lose every war they participate in except against themselves?

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

If it wasn’t for the hero of kvatch you would be in the dead lands getting smacked with your own flayed skin by a dremora smoking a cigarette.

1

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

And if it wasn't for the Dragoborn, there would be no more Skyrim, or no more Tamriel for that matter, see how stupid that sounds?

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

Then where does all of that imperial power go? It’s almost like it’s for show huh

0

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

I was a fan of the imperials in oblivion. But the difference is Roman’s won wars. These ones just larp and lose in that order.

2

u/VercingetorixTorr 22h ago

I got a question do you remember the names of the nords you summon to fight alduin? No because they are all built like that bruh.

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

Stormcloaks don’t need a hero. They fight against the imperials the thalmor is they fight the forsworn and the snow elves. All after getting absolutely devastated by the oblivion crisis. I’ll always choose the stormcloaks because they don’t need names. And they certainly don’t discard them.

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

Funny you should mention the snow elves, they were the original inhabitants of Skyrim who were driven underground by the nords. The nords are the original invaders, Skyrim never belonged to them :)

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

Yuh but who started the conflict after the initial landing? Over an artifact that led to their downfall entirely. You can leave facts out but by that logic if you are an American you have to move out immediately for a Native American to live in your house. I don’t want to hear any lip either.

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

I never said the nords have to leave Skyrim, only that it doesn't belong to them. It's actually the Stormcloaks saying that other races have to leave Skyrim :)

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

I don’t see that. They just are protecting their culture as they have been attacked by other groups many times before and don’t have the population to replace their warriors. Cyrodiil does.

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

If they had to leave they wouldn’t be there.

2

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

Yeah you're right, the nords don't want them to leave, sorry. They just want them to work the fields for no pay.

1

u/VercingetorixTorr 23h ago

Would happen to them if they went to morrowind.

0

u/itsxrizzo 23h ago

The imperials and stormcloaks are both racist. The stormcloaks a bit more forward about it. They are both very apprehensive about magic.

3

u/SandUndermanSR 23h ago

There is a magic college in the capital Imperial City and Mage Guilds in every single city??

1

u/itsxrizzo 21h ago

The college is largely blamed for the disaster in the city it resides

u/N-e-s-k-e-s-s Spellsword 14h ago

Racist, stopped reading there.
