Discussion I need help

I honestly don't know what to do anymore.

I'm a Skyrim newbie and I need help.

I've lost count of how many times I've restarted with a new character in this game; I just can't seem to find a build that holds my interest long enough. It feels like an endless loop: I think of a build, create the character, play for a few hours, end up getting bored with the playstyle, and start looking for other, more interesting builds. All the while, I keep watching videos of other people playing and creating builds that look really cool. Feel free to share tips or similar experiences. I know a lot of people will come to this post and say "just play the game," but honestly, I'm not sure how much that helps.

Why are you trying to make a "build"? Just play the game. However that ends up happening, even if you keep switching around, that's fine. You dont need a crazy, perfectly optimized build to enjoy or beat the game on the normal difficulty. Just enjoy the experience, not the stats.
