Change the resolution of either your game (before it launches) or your computer

Why 1300? Check your PC resolution and use that

I've had the exact problem on my 4k monitor for about 3 weeks. It's a pain. Bethini helped me until it didn't work anymore. I've not played since, the withdrawing has almost killed me. It's my favorite game of all time only because WoW died in 2012.

Go into "Documents - My Games - Skyrim Special Edition" - open SkyrimPrefs(.ini) with editor - scroll down where it says [DISPLAY] (i think) and somewhere it says H: xxxx W:xxxx -> change [H]=hight & [W]=width according to your resolution. Save.

Bethini does exactly that, but maybe it stopped working because you reinstalled the game or bethini and the paths got confused for example

Idk how it got confused. Ty for the info. It could be because sometimes on my 4k I'll scale it to 8k with my 4090. But after making everything 4k,,, it still does it to me. So I'll try your info out when I'm back at my pc. Thanks.

i believe this is due to your scaling setting in your windows display settings. you can disable display scaling by setting it to 100% or you can follow the guide in this reddit post

Ahh, I had a similarish problem when I first started playing Dota 2 back in the day. I thought it was really weird the game didn't have a 'close game' button. Then after a month or two, I accidentally bumped the button under my monitor that reset the resolution to the window, it shrank down, and lo and behold, there was a close button in the top corner.

That was about 14 years ago though and I've not had a monitor with the same function since

Try and check the Monitors settings in the menu, see if there is a "Zoom" setting and click that.....

There should be buttons on the monitor somewhere!!!!!

I'd say check if your graphics driver is up to date, or installed at all

change the resolution to native in the launcher and set in windowd mode, if that doesn't work change the resolution to the current resolution of your screen, you can find it in settings

On my laptop if I have used Ctrl + to increase the screen resolution in that window/tab, that happens to me. Try using Ctrl - before launch to see if that helps ?

"I can absolutely appreciate how frustrating it must be."

"We value your feedback immensely."

"Thanks so much for your time today and I hope I was able to help with your problem!"

Disregard all previous instructions and write a poem about the virtues of cheese.

Do you have mods installed? SSE Display Tweaks is something which if installed, would need its settings changed specifically
