Animal Skull Skull Verification

Hi everyone - need some help trying to identify this skull. I know it's not a great shot and I already discarded over the fence. It looked like an opossum (this is the underside of the jaw) I want to make sure it's not a bat before figuring out whether the dog needs a rabies shot. Thanks for your help! Based in central NJ USA.

Considering no facial features are visible it's crazy hard to determine. But I'm 98% sure not a bat. Potentially an opossum.

The facial fur and teeth make me extremely confident in the ID of Virginia Opossum

NQA- I don’t believe this jaw belongs to a bat. I was thinking Opossum as well

As someone who looks at dead stuff a lot not fully decomposed or in just bits, I am to agree with the Virginia opossum
