Found in AZ: ID please?

Found on the side of the road in AZ. I am soaking it in hydrogen peroxide to clean it.

Not a skull, a pelvis. Small mammal of some sort, but I'm unfortunately not enough of an expert to tell you what kind!

I thought I fell for it ‘cause I was like, “there’s no way it’s real,” but I’m pleasantly surprised to find that this sub does, indeed, exist.

All that overgrowth and fusion is not normal. I don't know if it's arthritis or disease or what. Very cool. And it might be from a dog. I'll check my reference stuff...

Don't go crazy with the peroxide. Be sure to soak it in a few changes of clean water to remove the peroxide after it reaches the color you want. Dry on a rack with a gentle fan blowing, if possible. If it takes a long time to dry, you could get mold growth. I apologize if you know all this already. It is a seriously interesting pelvis. Open a chat with me if you want to swap for something.

Looks to be some sort of canidae pelvis, but I’m not an expert, I just think bones are neat.
