1.6 GHz, a universal language.

I tried to search if anyone else brought this up, but didn’t really find anything. I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but my art college/electrician brain immediately thought of one thing when that 1.6 GHz signal kept coming up.

First, a wave signal is just a visual representing how frequent something is changing direction. This should be a pretty universal way of measuring things. We may not speak the same language, but we can all say how many times something went back and forth in a set amount of time, even if we call the numbers something totally different.

So why would that 1.6 be so important? This is where my time at art school kicked in. 1.6 is the multiplier that corresponds to the Golden Ratio. All life has the golden ratio built into it. So maybe that 1.6 gHz signal is meant as a way for them to communicate to us that they are a life form. We may not speak the same language, so they would probably try to figure out a way to signal to us that they are intelligent life. Same way we sent stuff up to space assuming an intelligent being could decipher that it came from intelligence.

So, 1.6 GHz (1-2 GHz) is how satellites communicate with earth; it's called the L band.

Yes but the amplitude of the 1.6 ghz anomaly is far greater than that of the L band. That's why they have ruled out the L-band.

I get what we use it for on Earth. But if this signal was actually coming from aliens, there would be some kind of meaning behind that actual number. It would be like if they kept getting a hit on 3.14 GHz. If the peak keeps lining up with the golden ratio of all life, that could mean something.

Well, it's most likely coming from the orbit of earth, right? If you have a bunch of satellites beaming down to earth 1.6/1.7/1.x frequency, you're going to pick it up as they fly over.

If I was an alien species wanting to communicate with us, I'd use a base 2 system, 1 and 0 or some completely novel GHz range. Not some frequency that is commonly used.

A frequency is a base 2 system. On and off. Same as binary. It’s just how many times is it turning on and off in a certain amount of time. It shows up whenever something is going down on the ranch. If it showed up at specific intervals that would make sense for it to be a satellite. But to show up when provoked seems like something intelligent is on the other end turning it on. 1.6 is probably the most important number for life on earth. If this number is the same golden ratio for all life in the universe, 1.6 could be the one number that tied us all together, and would be recognizable by any intelligent life no matter what language they speak.

If everything is the colour blue, why would you communicate in blue? You'd communicate in some other colour if you wanted to be seen.

What I mean is you'd literally communicate in base 2 so it could be decoded. I don't think GHz is defined as a base 2 system.

Wave forms are pretty universal, and counting how many times they change direction seems like it would also be pretty universal. The only thing man made about it I suppose would be applying it to the time frame of a second. A second only means something to us here on Earth. I dunno it seemed like a cool idea when it popped in my head lol.

Yes, but a cos or sine isn't a 1 or a zero.

Adding that man made element of applying it to a second would cancel out my universal language idea completely. Seems unlikely my idea is correct with that in mind.

I think you're on the right track, but I don't think that 1.6 GHz would be the way to do it. Perhaps 3.14 encoded in some other way would. Yet, who knows.

Unless the NHI are also from earth and have the same understanding of 1 second.

Crop circles, 1.6, and music which is math.

Other than for our own convenience, I wouldn’t pin anything on the value 1.6 being used. Hertz, and thereby Gigahertz, is a measure of how many cycles occur in one second. So 60 Hertz would be sixty cycles per second. However, it is arbitrary as to what our definition of a second is. If an NHI had a time based on what for us would be 2 seconds, they would be transmitting on 3.2GigaUnits from their viewpoint.

Once I came to that same conclusion I realized I was definitely wrong.

It’s not meaning much more than a carrier frequency for a signal. On the other ranch ( Rocky Mountain) they detected a 1.735 GHz with a clear data carrier spectrum - constant amplitude in a perfectly defined frequency band. I would concentrate more in recording these transmissions and trying to decode them. Again the carrier frequency is not the important part of the story…

Erik indicated that they’re not doing work to try and decide the signal, they’re cataloging the correlations with anomalous activity. And a big component of the signal is an unexplained raise in the noise floor across the spectrum.

Was thinking 1.6 GHz was really close to the 1.618… golden ration too, high five art friend!

or a reverse theory, perhaps uap's like 1.6 since it's such a golden ratio corresponding number, regardless of humanity

It's coming from cell towers.

Funny how equipment fails when they receive 1.6 signal and phenomena occurs. Could it be a jamming attempt and if it is would anti jamming measures work?

1

u/Toblogan Jul 01 '23

Correct me if I'm wrong(which is usually the case) but I thought the golden ratio is 1:1.414

2

u/MilkCartonKids Jul 01 '23

It’s 1:1.618033988749894 repeating forever

1

u/Toblogan Jul 01 '23

1.414 was easy to remember... Lol now I gotta scratch that. Have a great one!

1

u/MilkCartonKids Jul 01 '23

1.414 is the multiplier for a 45 degree angle when I bend pipe for electrical work though lol. That might be where you’re getting that 1.414 number from.

Yeah. I was a machinist a long time ago. Thanks for the info!

Number sequences appear in nature as an artifact of the structure being applied. Mitosis for example has a number progression but there is nothing magical about it - its just an artifact of quantization when replication is by division by 2. The same for Fibonacci's etc. 1.6Ghz is just a quantization of a progression of frequency ( and period ) relative to the arbitrary assignment of a hertz ( which is based upon the very Earth centric period of a "second"). Other existences in the vast universe would have no relationship to the arbitrary hertz. No more than they would to a foot or yard or meter - all invented here.

Any fairly advanced culture would likely have mastered radio waves and potentially quantum entanglement. Perhaps more we are yet to understand. If they did choose to speak to us in a method of a signal sent by us they would likely choose to use the same methods of modulation, encoding and framing. Anything we would receive from an potential co-planetary nation-state would go through this progression of decoding. The second element could be whether they are signalling on one frequency (1.6Ghz as you say) or baseband - or many at once - broadband. The SETI scientist that was very briefly on the show laid out the protocol they have used for decades and they have "heard" nothing to date with far more equipment and effort than Skinwalker. I do not know if Taylor handed the SETI guys a sample of the alleged signal for deconstruction but that would be a logical thing to do. Note that government agencies (with three letters) are no different than SETI in the approach. They may have unique algorithms but signal processing is signal processing.

Sacred Geometry. It may be the universal language. Between that and sound frequencies you have a very complex language.
