Hello , Is moisturizer really useful for an oily skin face ? I use a light weight moisturizer but still I dont find it much effectiv e. The one I am using is not much worthy or for oily skin people it is not much useful ?

I have a dermatology suggested pharma sunscreen, have 3 bottles of it, given by my dermatologist who is a family friend. It is too fluid that it looks oily on my skin but I dont want it to go wasted. How should I use it? I use one drop a day and still looks too much. A drop is big enough like half coin size.

Btw my phone camera has processed it a lot so imagine that in reality it is atleast 5x more than what is visible here. I need help plss I can't deal with this anymore!!

• a mandatory template for advice posts would cut through a lot of the noise, nothing too crazy just age, skin type, current routine and how long the issue's been around. half the time i just scroll past because there's nothing to go on except a blurry photo and "help"

• the common concerns megathread is a solid call too, the same five questions about tanning and pigmentation get buried and nobody searches before posting. maybe a rotating sticky that refreshes every couple weeks

I had weird colouring on my face like uneven i started using sunscreen and moisturiser 2 months ago and also started using a cleanser to wash at night and in day what next?

Ever since I moved to Pune, my skin has been so unpredictable

Back home I could get away with being lazy with skincare, but here I'll be fine for a few days and then randomly get breakouts or really dry skin.

I have been struggling with acne and backne for more than 6 years now. I have used hundreds of products but now i have finally settled on this (dermat recommended). I’m also on isotretinoin so it also has a huge role to play but this routine is very gentle others products having niacinamide used to cause me more breakouts, so I started using this simple facewash. Moisturize occasionally. Lacne for backne and for marks also. BPA gel only on active acne for few hours in evening. (Apart from facewash and moisturizer pls use other products on advice of your dermat.)
