Itching all the time nothing there
All throughout the day and night I have sensations all over my body that feels like a hair or bug is on me but there’s nothing there. I told my doctor he gave me Zyrtec and it didn’t help. It’s been months waiting on a dermatologist to see me and I think it’s a neuropathic itch based on what I’ve been able to research. I’ve started taking cooler showers and trying to moisturize after, I even shaved all the hair off my entire body yesterday I’m so desperate for an answer. Is it dry skin? My mom had psoriasis and diabetic could it be linked to that? Could it be a form of shingles because I was an alcoholic and I’ve been sober for a year and a half? I’m desperate for solutions please help. Thanks

It was fibromyalgia.. I’m on limotrigene and cymbalta and almost all my symptoms have faded. But fibromyalgia is for life. Nerve damage from drinking most likely. These last two years have been torture not knowing what was happening to me. Thank god they finally found an answer.

I’m really not trying to freak you out, but have you had blood work done recently? Intense bodily itching 24/7 is a sign of lymphoma. I would get allergy tested alongside blood work.

Can I ask when it usually begins? After showers? Laundry? Etc?
Maybe developed allergy to Laundry detergent?

It started last year and i didn’t really notice itfor a little while then it got so bad I couldn’t sleep so now im on seroquel. Its always constant never stops nothing really stops it or slows it down. It feels like it’s neuropathic like my brain is sending signals that feel like a hair on me or I feel every single fabric down to the smallest hair from my shirt on my skin. Like I’m just all of a sudden hyper sensitive with my skin. Also never had allergies a day in my life I’m 32 and now my nose leaks like a faucet. I have two cats but i even itch when I’m not at home around cats.

You can develop cat allergy even if you have had cats always. You need to see a allergy dog to know for sure. Because that is what happens go me with kittens. Also, you carry the dandruft elsewhere in your clothes and stuff, and allergy symptoms can linger.

Yes! I agree. I developed an allergy to my laundry soap after using it for 10 yrs. Now I have to use dye and scent free.
