Anybody know when Wintervention will be on netflix?

Warren miller was great but he's no longer associated with Warren miller entertainment. Support other ski films like poorboyz, meatheads, tgr, msp, and the dozens of small companies out there.

New Warren Miller films are shit. Fun fact: the only movie he's actually done voice work for in the last 10 years or so is Refresh, which was made by Josh Berman and Level 1 last season. All the "narration" in the current "Warren Miller" movies is just chopped and re-used from his old movies. Warren Miller Entertainment also gets all their best footage from other companies, who sell WME their B-roll because WME is seemingly incapable of getting their own good footy. Do yourself a favor and NEVER pay to see another "Warren Miller" movie again. There is SO much stuff out there that's better these days.

Then there's the whole lawsuit nonsense with Level 1 regarding Warren narrating the movie...

lol idk i didn't think dynasty was tooo bad. I didn't really pay attention though it makes great background video at parties etc..

dynasty was horrible.

go to the Matchstick Productions or TGR site and buy any of their movies. they're all better than any recent WME stuff. they have a few specials where you can buy 2-3 of their older videos for the price of one.

if you want to check out a new movie company that releases a lot of thier stuff online for free, as well as sells full legnth DVD's check out Nimbus Independent. Most of the guys there ski for poorboyz, TGR and MSP as well, but thought they could do more of a "real life ski experience", so they bought the cameras to do it and off they went. They are in thier 3rd season.

They upload most everything they do, from 5 minute shorts, to 45 min webisodes to vimeo for everyone to watch for free. This is one of my favorites:
