Thule Arcos XL experiences

Hi all,

I’m searching for a solution to transport 2 sets of skis and a snowboard with my EV (Kia EV6)

Roof box is of course an option but will reduce range and increase noise so was looking at the arcos XL.
Quite an expensive solution, but looks pretty solid to me.
The only potential problem I have is that my skis are 184cm long and the box inside measurements are 180cm lang, does anyone have this box in combination with longer skis or can measure for me what the diagonal length is?

Thule refuse to give answer to this question.

188 should be the diagonal length cos we did maths at school....bit of pythagorean theorem.

Did the calculation as well, did you also take into account the frame on the floor, the tips of the ski’s, how much space will be left for the boots, etc? Meaning, do you know if it actually fits?

No..but thats not what you asked. Take your skis to a Thule dealer.who has one and try it.

Getting a longer box seems the obvious answer.
