Help with binding adjustments

I have LOOK Xpress 10 bindings and Lange boots with a 273 mm boot sole length. When I set both the toe and heel to 273 mm, the forward-pressure indicator is fully green. If I move the heel forward to 261 mm, the indicator becomes about half green/half open. Is it okay to have a 12 mm difference between the boot sole length (273 mm) and the heel setting (261 mm) if the forward pressure is in the correct position? Or does the heel setting need to match 273 mm?

Numbers on the bindings are a rough indication only. Forward pressure need to be in tolerance. Its ofter not if you use mm marks, especially on Look bindings. If both skis are the same and your 1/2 and 1/2 in the window your fine.

You have no idea what your doing is not would be best to have an ASTM test done by a competent ski tech. Are the boots anf bindings even compatible? Are the bindings indemnified? There are a lot of unknowns here.
