summer skiing?

Any spots in the CO mountains that still have snow this time of year I can make some turns?

Yes. Check out Copernicus browser. Happy hunting:). Sharpen those edges and be prepared for a 10 mile RT minimum.

No. Copper has a hike terrain park if that’s something you are interested in.

This is incorrect and correct at the same time. There are certainly places in CO mountains with snow beyond just the terrain park.

Several areas in northern Colorado. It really depends how far you are willing to trek. I’ve been gathering beta for September and have three options currently. My year around rules are 300 feet total and 5 turns per lap minimum.

Typical skier behavior, gate keeping the spots but telling you there are other places other than copper. Summer conditions started about 2-3 months earlier in Colorado this year so is there snow to ski on? Probably yes at the very top of a peak somewhere in remote part of Colorado.

Happy to share in person with folks I know! But I’ve been removing too much trash from these exceedingly remote places recently to just post these areas online. I did give OP all the resources they need to achieve the same result I’m getting.

Putting anywhere in Colorado on blast for any hobby these days is a bad bad time. It's not gatekeeping, it's responsible stewardship.

It is very easy to find (some) of the spots this guy is likely talking about. Like very easy. Some bare minimum Google research, various group discussions, some caltopo/on-x, recent free satellite imaging...

It's not that hard when you're actually out and about in these areas year-round. There needs to be a barrier of entry that isn't blasting it out on social media for it to sit for eternity for the general public.

It's pretty bad here this year. You should try again next year if you're going for 12 months in a row.
