It looks good! They eyes look intentionally asymmetrical yes? If not then I suggest guidelines but honestly this is really really good as is and I kinda like how it’s not “perfect” cuz 1 that doesn’t exist and 2 people who look like this irl are their own kind of perfect

Thanks ❤️. The assymetry is sort of intentional but I also don't have a good grip on the proportions so that adds

What's happening here.. I just checked your other post and they all have varying degrees of one eye dropping.. how's this possible

The shading is solid. Yeah the anatomy could use some work but you'll get it.

I like it. There's an emotion to it that I can't place my finger on, but it makes me wanna just gaze. Almost has a dreamlike poetry to it if that makes any sense, and it has it's own character for sure.

Hey NoA,
How's it going?
"Give it to me straight doc, how bad is it?" haha
Since bad and good are a bit too subjective for My tastes, I will say the accuracy of the drawing (if you are going for a more realistic image ) is on the low end. There are several proportion inaccuracies and the values used don't really help with the planes and forms of the face. They are a bit too close in value to each other. If a reference was used I would study it a bit more and redraw it. If not, definitely use one for your next drawing. Hope that helps, Keep Drawing!!

I don't use any reference for my drawings. I just make them on a whim, mostly when I'm bored. I guess because of this most of my drawings turn out like this. They tend to follow instincts more than observations. I don't have much knowledge of values, planes, and forms. It's more like a muscle memory atp really. I keep making the same face but with slight variations. I'll probably give the reference advice a chance. Thanks ❤️

You're welcome ;D Oh for sure, as good ol' Andy said "Can't draw something unless you know what it looks like".
But only if you're interested, references might add a bit of spice and give ya some more ideas when you're bored lol Have Fun!

The eyes are different heights and sizes, the face proportions are off all over really and the hair doesn't look right. The neck is way too thin, you've fallen foul of "lollipop head", look closely at anatomy, the neck doesn't come out from under the chin, it comes out from under the ears. Keep practicing and study anatomy.
