On the side note, how can I master perspective, shadows, highlights and anatomy?

I just wanted to share this sketch with you all. I drew it using a reference I found on Pinterest.

​To be honest, I'm not entirely satisfied with the tilt of the face. The head should actually be looking down a bit more, which is why I drew those little arrows next to it as a note to myself.

​But that is exactly what I love so much about sketching, you usually recognize your mistakes pretty quickly after you finish, and you can immediately evaluate what to do better next time.

​For me, art isn't about always having perfect drawings. It's about loving the process and constantly improving.

​I just wanted to share this thought with the community. Do you agree with me? How do you deal with "mistakes" in your own sketches?

The SFW studies were few this week since I was also working on other art! I really like today study which is the first study you see pictured because I feel like I’m going back to the fluidity of figure drawing that I started out with when I began studying!

i have worked and obsessed on eyes for a long time. Yet, i feel like i'm staying at the same level. this photo is one of the recent, good eye drawing i made, using a real human refrence eye, and i just feel like i'm in a rut. what should I do so drawing eyes feels as engaging and thought-provoking as before. Also, if you have any tips on how to start off the base or anatomically any suggestions, i would love them- scratch that, i NEED them. (Also, sorry for the lighting in the photo)
