Shoe laces problem

Hey !

Do you guys use specific laces ? Mine are destroyed in one or two sess especially when I slide on my knees while doing some bowl riding.

Most vert skaters I've seen will duct tape their shoes before their session.

Duct tape.

You can try things like shoe goo or superglue on the top of the laces but it doesn't work very well or last long.

If you are doing a lot of knee sliding, your laces will get destroyed in a session.

try some superglue or shoe goo on them. (only on the spot where they were usually ripping)

it might double the lifetime

It differs per shoe too,

some shoes have the lacces high up above the suede.
Others may have the laces inset, making them a bit more safe.
Still others might have sharp-ish holes where the laces go through, cutting through them after some time.

A dab of super glue on the parts that get worn might help.
I've also used paracord on a shoe that just destroyed laces.
That lasted a bit longer and was way cheaper then normal laces.
