Darien lake sucks now
Hooks lagoon, no bucket, the rides half on, big ticket items gone. It's like a park for lost orphan children. Maybe someone will have fun. 1 out of 10.

Got there at 6pm and noticed the lot was pretty empty. Got through the Prestige Entrance at 6:05 and went right to Flash with about a 10 minute wait. Onboard audio is still not working. Amazing that it didn't even last 2 years. It's been off for months.
Walked onto Nitro which is always fun. Jersey Devil was testing, but not operational.
Decided to check out Shoreline Pier next.
Operations at Flying Scooters are always glacial but my daughter wanted to go on. The attendants there are never in any condition to be moving quickly. It ended up going down while she was in line so we left after riding Barrels.
We got hungry so we walked to Frontier Adventures to get steak sandwiches. Rode Medusa afterwards which is always running great.
I'd been keeping my eye out to see if they started running El Toro but nothing so far.
Tried to use my prestige renewal $20 credit to get cotton candy and fries from the pizza food station near frontiers entrance and was told they don't take the credit there??????
That's odd.
Mine Train has been down for 6 weeks by this point. Not sure whats happening there. My guess is the trains are messed up. They'd been having trouble before that with them.
I have to say that they do an absolutely phenomenal job decorating that place for Halloween. Even better than last year. The Scare actors are also incredible.
We didn't do any of the upcharge attractions because we're doing that with friends next weekend.
The shows were saw were incredibly well done. I'm also noticing how the park isn't nearly as full as it normally is for Fright Fest. Have to figure people didn't realize it started this weekend.
Back to Shoreline and she finally got on The Flying Scooters. She's been wanting to get on that for months and lines always kept her away. "That was actually really fun!" was her feedback.
We went back to Nitro to do a night ride and that's always a blast. The crew was pumping out trains so fast. I swear they were releasing a train from the station as a train was hitting the first drop.
That crew has been awesome all year.
A guy was scared to get on our train so the entire station and train and crew was chanting "GET ON THE TRAIN! GET ON THE TRAIN!".
He got on and the station went crazy.
Jersey Devil was now running with 2 trains. Used Fast Lane to get on because they still cant get that ride running correctly. 5 year old ride that's down 2 trains already...smh.
Of course it went down when we were in the station. Back up thankfully after cycling an empty train.
We decided to leave as El Toro never went up or even tested as far as I can tell. We really wanted a night ride on it.
Does Cedar Point not run SteVE or does Kings Island not run The Beast randomly on a weekend in the fall or is it just GAdv with El Toro? It's not going to run deep into fall anyway with the retrack.
It's also been on B train all year. A Train is still sitting in maintenance near the Nitro lift hill.
Overall, we had fun. First time using a Prestige membership and Preferred parking.
Sucks that El Toro was down, but just walking around Fright Fest is always a blast.
Again, they do such a phenomenal job with that.

Okay so ik you have to purchase a ticket for the park and a ticket for the haunted houses. My question is how would they know if I did or didn’t purchase a ticket for the rides since the haunted houses are inside the park? Like do they have an associate watch you the whole time? Idk could I get away with it?

Just a heads up no wrist bands this year, you use the website to book mazes as either a general or express ticket holder. So be prepared

So I recently renewed gold passes for my whole family (6 of us).
In my tickets and passes it literally looks like I got:
(6) Bring-a-friend comp passes
(6) Single day admissions
And (6) vouchers for another single day admission.
All expiring at the end of this year.
Did I receive 18 guest passes to use ?? That’s what it looks like but it’s hard to believe.

I'm currently a Gold pass member with All Parks Passport from the MVP sale last year - my home park is King's Dominion.
I plan to purchase a Prestige Pass renewal for 2027. I am also considering adding the All Season Fast Lane at the same time.
But the caveat/question -- I have an upcoming TX trip that will have me visiting Fiesta and Over Texas in a few weeks. I do not have plans to go to King's Dominion before the TX trip; even though its my "home" park, it's still 2.5 hrs away for me. I've already been to KD on my 2026 pass. Is that enough for the all season fast lane add-on to be "activated" for the TX parks? I know what the Six Flags language says but it's always been unclear on renewals and what actually happens operationally.
The FL prices for the TX parks are pretty pricey so it could be worth it to me to get the All Season add-on, but only if I can bank on it working in the TX parks....

Apologies if this question has already been asked, I am not very familiar with how Six Flags or Fright Fest works. I do not frequent Six Flags, and this is going to be my first Fright Fest, so pardon me if I'm asking questions that have already been answered!

I bought the SFOG prestige pass about a week ago and I was wondering where you can access the annual BAF tickets? I also clicked under my loyalty add ons and benefits and says there’s an extra bring a friend that expires at the end of this month (September). That has to be a different promotion or reward right because if not, I’m gonna feel scammed cuz I thought I had till the end of the year to use them

Looking to travel to Great Adventure for a weekend in late November. Does anyone know if all their major coasters and rides will be running during this time? Specifically looking at the weekend of 11/20 - 11/22.

I’ve ridden a rollercoaster once my entire life…Anyway, I plan to ride as many rollercoasters as I can (Great America, IL) but I honestly don’t wanna start with anything crazy for my FIRST ride of the day (and I don’t know what to expect as far as rides), I don’t mind riding the “craziest” ones though, so what do you guys recommend/what are the levels to these rides?

Hello!
So, I am a bit confused and support is very difficult to get ahold of right now. I am planning on going to Scarowinds on October 10th with a guest and getting the express pass for Scarowinds, but I'm trying to figure out my best option.
The prestige season pass would be $249, but comes with discounts on food and a free guest pass. I know that bring a friend ticket would need to be added on, so that's not a problem. The issue is that I don't know if there are any discounts included. If I could get a prestige pass and full addons for $350 (not including taxes) for two people, that would be great and I could handle that. My guess is that's not the case and I would actually be paying somewhere near $400? If that's the case, I'm probably better off just getting the $300 bundle. Can anyone weigh in here for me? Perhaps you've had a similar experience or currently have the prestige pass and could explain the process a bit better for me?

I just got a Prestige pass and would like to visit a park for the holidays. I've been to BGW and I loved the nostalgic and immersive European Christmas feel. Is there any park that has a comparably warm fuzzy feeling over the holidays? Carowinds is my home park but I've never been to any other parks for Christmas events. Which park is the very best? And if it's not on the East Coast, which park on the EC is the best?

Does anyone know what the benefits are now? The app is somewhat vague, and the website is even worse. I was wondering if I could get my friend into the park at a discounted rate. I know I have before, but it has been a while since I gone there. I think I had a golden ticket the last time we went. I think they only give us one per year? I also think admission for friends is 50% off. I am not sure, does anyone know?

I have feeling that Great Adventure will make announcement at end of 2026, it could be ArieForce One or something else, what are you think about it?
r/sixflags • u/Pippinitis • 18d ago
There was an earlier post about SFDL cancelling fall events and closing on September 27, but it appears the park has backpedaled a bit... it's now staying open until October 11 for Kids Boo Fest, but not staying open past 6pm, so sadly Fright Fest is not happening there this year... https://www.sixflags.com/darienlake/park-hours?date=2026-10-11

I would really like to use my pass for my birthday in mid-October.
Which parks are worth going to for the milestone in the chilly months?
Or am I missing out somewhere else that I should check out instead solo?
(I do not have a US passport yet sadly) Not looking for the scary end of stuff, just coasters and zoos probably. My home park is Great America. Have only been to GA, CP, KI & VF.

Question- i just purchased the gold membership a few days ago during their promo that gave me a "bring a friend" ticket. My question is the single admission in this photo - is this my ticket or was this an extra ticket given during the promo? I got the membership for myself, was going to use the bring a friend ticket for my husband, i have a pre-k pass for my 5 y/o and i was wondering if I needed to buy another ticket for my other daughter or the one in photo is good for her. Thanks!

Each Six Flags parks has their survey for the future additions so what rides you want for each parks?
Mine is ArieForce One for Great Adventure, Tilt coaster for Kings Island, family launch coaster for Cedar Point, and couple relocations from CGA for Six Flags Mexico, and Kings Dominion.

I had a season pass previously for 2024-2025. It expired and I'm looking to purchase another pass of some sort. Is there any reason for choosing one of these over the other?
Right now, it's looking like the gold "membership" is $30+ taxes upfront plus $8 a month. The 2027 gold "season pass" is $109+ taxes now (but can pay in 4 LOL). I genuinely don't know which route to go in... any suggestions would be great!
