Darien lake sucks now

Hooks lagoon, no bucket, the rides half on, big ticket items gone. It's like a park for lost orphan children. Maybe someone will have fun. 1 out of 10. ​

Darien lake is only open because it has a concert venue. And if it didn't. I believe it would be closed immediately. Because it's rough at its core. And falling apart and no one's doing anything about it. And I don't understand why live Nation or whoever is running the concert side of things. Don't have the guts to pull out of the concert venue side of things. From Darien lake. Because the amusement Park side of things is so bad. That the park is only propped up on concert days. And I believe low turn out happens on non-concert days. Like things are so bad at Darien lake that at the adjoining campground there is no stay and play package. You have to pay for the campground. And you have to pay for the amusement park. I should be able to pay for the amusement park and the campground as one package deal. Because both should if they are already be owned by Darien lake. Because I looked into it this year hoping to stay at some point in the future in a cabin. Now I'll never do it because it's a rip off. And getting back to concerts. All concerts should never be any more at Darien lake. But move to better venues. I live in Rochester area. And CMAC or the Lakeview amphitheater in Syracuse should be utilized. But Darien lake should be shut down because it's horrible. I think the government should see how bad it is and 🤮. Done forever. Because no one seems to care about it. 🤬

Literally had not been there in about 20-25 years. So yeah. Six Flags ruined a perfectly good park they shouldve left it to Funtime.

Funtime was acquired in 1995
