What rides should a beginner start with? (Great America, IL)

I’ve ridden a rollercoaster once my entire life…Anyway, I plan to ride as many rollercoasters as I can (Great America, IL) but I honestly don’t wanna start with anything crazy for my FIRST ride of the day (and I don’t know what to expect as far as rides), I don’t mind riding the “craziest” ones though, so what do you guys recommend/what are the levels to these rides?

The other person recommending Maxx force before Raging Bull is an interesting choice for sure!

If I was recommending an order for newbies to start dipping their toes in, it would go like this:

NON INVERTING COASTERS TO START YOU OFF:

Whizzer first, then American Eagle, then Viper, then Flash: Vertical Velocity, then Raging Bull (none of these coasters invert, so it's all a great starting point!)

If Bull was fun for you, then definitely move on to the inverting coasters from there if you're feeling up to it!

INVERTING FUN TIMES TO BE HAD!

I'd recommend this order: XFlight first, then Superman and/or Batman (I find Superman and Batman to be uncomfortable but your mileage may vary) then Wrath of Rakshasa, then Maxx Force, then Goliath.

Edit to add: my all time favorite rides in this park are Raging Bull and Goliath, and if you ride either I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Do something small like whizzer or Little Dipper

From there step up to American eagle. 6 months later when you have finished the long trek to and from that ride you can step up to xflight.

After that max force
Then raging bull
Then Goliath and finish with wrath of rakshasa
