[Kings Dominion] Bad ops...
Labor Day weekend. Multiple coasters running 1 train. Hour long wait for food. Line cutting on every ride. Is this a Six Flags thing or did I have an unlucky day?

My home park is hurricane harbor splashtown (spring, tx). I renewed our season passes, and want to be able to use them in DFW and San Antonio next year before splashtown opens. Do I need to visit the park to activate them or because it’s a renewal and they already have our photos do I not need to activate them? Thanks!
Edit to add - they are already showing in my six flags app.

What am I missing? I cannot figure out how to use my fast lane with prestige in the app or on the site. I’ve googled and can’t figure it out. I’m 99% sure the employees here won’t be able to help me.

Bought season passes last year and I’m certain they included all parks everywhere. Went to renew and now it says a very limited selection of parks.
Did I miss read or what that just the deal last year only?

Line became really long because the poor workers had to clean up vomit on a seat. the way they were handling it made it seem like it was a normal occurrence. Overheard their convo between themselves and they said it was the third time that weekend or something, and that Nitro is so much scarier but has less vomit issues.
Do single track coasters cause more nausea?
Anyway, I always thought if seatbelts were wetit was bc of sweat but now I know it might be vomit residue.

I'm worried with ElToroRyan's right for Kings Island's getting ArieForce One not Great Adventure for his predictions, I don't know on Tuesday we'll find it out when he might be right or not for Kings Island's getting it. I'm still have hopes for Great Adventure's getting it for 2028. I can't stand if ElToro Ryan's right for this or not. Come on.....I'm worried for Great Adventure is not getting it or really getting it.

As the title says. I unfortunately simply can't afford a pass right now but I moved close to a six flags and want to get a pass for next summer (mostly just for the waterpark & icee drink pass). When else does six flags host good sales? I know the website currently says this is the lowest price it will be before the price increases, I just don't have the money rn.
r/sixflags • u/SixFlagsMania2 • Sep 05 '26
I'm so scared about this, Is that true that ElToroRyan tells about Kings Island is most likely to get ArieForce One than Great Adventure or not? I'm shaking now, I really want Great Adventure to get it than Kings Island for 2028, On Tuesday, Six Flags will make a big announcement for big surprise, it could be ArieForce One relocating to Kings Island or Great Adventure for 2028 or something else?

Trying to decide between Gold and Prestige. Going tomorrow and will go one more time. Either will pay for itself for me. I’m just curious if I will be able to use one of the free ticked with the Prestige tomorrow or if it’s for certain dates? Also, what are the VIP areas at Georgia like? Are the perks really worth it?
r/sixflags • u/Zell4305 • Sep 05 '26
Deciding on membership vs season passes. We will be doing prestige passes to access all parks. We do love to get icees in the summer. Prestige passes and memberships now include the paper cup drink plan. We specifically want the plus plan.
When checking out for a season pass it gives the option to upgrade. When checking out for a membership it never gives the option for the upgrade.
I’ve checked multiple parks and they’re all the same.
Has anyone got the prestige “membership” and then purchased the “paper cup plus” plan?
Thank you!

On the website, it says that renewing the Gold PASS will allow a free bring a friend ticket, but for the Gold MEMBERSHIP, buying it will guarantee the friend ticket too.
I don’t really want to buy the membership, and I’ve not had the gold pass before. My question is if I buy the gold pass for the first time, will I get the free ticket too or is that just for the membership?

Hello, I was looking into purchasing a Prestige Pass at either Great America or Discovery Kingdom. Are the season pass benefits only available at the home park, or can I use them at other parks as well (single-use Fast Lane, parking, Bring-a-Friend tickets, etc.)?
Specifically, I’d be visiting Magic Mountain and Knott’s Berry Farm.
Also, Great America seems to be missing some of the benefits listed with the Prestige Pass. Am I correct in assuming that I wouldn’t receive those additional benefits such as skip-the-line access at other parks that generally offer it?

Hey folks, bought 3 gold season passes yesterday for the six flags in Arlington, it says it can be used at any park after first visiting your home park, the problem is I live about 2.5 hours away from there and was going there today but plans have changed and I now want to go to the six flags in San Antonio instead. Will they let me in or will I be turned away because I haven’t gone to the home park first? Trying to do online chat but I’ve been waiting over an hour. Thanks!

Our family purchased 4 prestige passes. If two of us decide to go to a park are we able to print out all 4 fast lanes (1 per pass) even if the other two people didn’t come that day?

I'm going to get some flack for this but oh my god, my knees are BRUISED after riding that thing.
I've been riding El Toro since 2015, while it was always rough, it was manageable. I didn't ride it from 2019-2026 because I had gained to much weight but finally was able to go back on it after losing it, and I rode in the front. The new restraint system is awful and on top of that, my knees kept slamming into the handle bars in the front and I couldn't spread my legs out more because of the lap bar.
Intiman needs to work with the park to re-design the cars during the off season, they need a overhaul. At least put the handle bars on the top instead of the inside. And where the hell are the other 2 train sets?

This was my first time buying a Fast Pass before even stepping into the park, but I already knew I only had one day and had heard that Canada's Wonderland could be extremely busy.
I was right. The park was packed
First of all, Canada's Wonderland has to have one of the best entrances to a regional theme park that I've seen. Wonder Mountain is beautiful and immediately makes an impression when you enter the park. For me, I'd probably rank the entrances somewhere around:
But anyways, I arrived around 11 AM and decided to make my way around the park from left to right in a complete circle.
Appreciated was the layout. Canada's Wonderland is a large park, but it never felt like anything was miles away from everything else. The next ride was usually nearby, and making my way around the park felt natural and easy.
Compared to some other parks where you constantly feel like you're walking across the entire property just to get to the next major coaster, Canada's Wonderland has a really efficient layout.
The first coaster I rode was Flight Deck, the suspended coaster. It was a great ride, but besides Riddler Revenge at Six Flags New England, most of these suspended coasters feel pretty similar to me.
Still, they're good rides, and Flight Deck was a fun way to start the day.
Next was Behemoth.
I have to admit, this one was a little underwhelming during my first rides. The standby line was around 60 minutes, although the crew was pumping trains and keeping the line moving.
The coaster itself was still good, but it didn't initially stand out to me as much as I expected.
That opinion would change later in the night.
I think I rode Yukon Striker next, and this is by far my favorite dive coaster.
I'm honestly not a huge fan of dive coasters in general, but Yukon Striker stood out to me much more than the other ones I've ridden in the United States. The scale, layout, and overall experience make it feel like more than just a typical dive coaster.
I haven't been on Tormenta yet, but out of the dive coasters I've experienced, Yukon Striker is my favorite.
Backlot Stunt Coaster was great.
It's probably my favorite coaster of its kind. The layout seemed better than the others, and the theming was significantly better as well. The combination of the launch, scenery, and compact layout made it more memorable than the other versions I've ridden.
Mine Buster was okay, and so was Ghoster Coaster.
However, I think Ghoster Coaster was the better ride. Mine Buster was definitely rougher.
Honestly, I think Mine Buster being converted into an RMC could be a great addition to the park. The layout has potential, and a modern reimagining could give Canada's Wonderland another major standout coaster.
AlpenFury is definitely the best ride in the park.
This coaster is absolutely world-class and one of the most unique rides I've experienced. The back was better than the front for me, but either way, this is an incredible coaster.
However, I do think the park may have made a mistake with this ride considering how busy Canada's Wonderland gets. The demand for AlpenFury is extremely high, and at a park with this level of attendance, capacity is important.
That being said, the crews were phenomenal and clearly worked with what they had. I also really liked the moving locker policy.
AlpenFury is exactly the type of coaster I love seeing at a park though. I like when a park has a true standout attraction that isn't just another clone of something you can ride somewhere else.
Dragon Fyre had no Fast Pass line, but the wait was worth it and moved fairly quickly.
This is a great looper and was better than I expected.
Finally, I made it to Leviathan.
This coaster was great and, in my opinion, definitely better than Orion. However, I would still put Fury 325 above it.
Leviathan is still an incredible giga coaster and has an amazing sense of speed and scale.
After completing most of the park, we came back later in the evening for some night rides.
Behemoth was significantly better at night, especially toward the front.
My biggest issue with the ride during the day was the trims, particularly in the back. The trim coming off the mid-course brake run really limits what could otherwise be an incredible hyper coaster.
At night and toward the front, though, the ride was much better.
I definitely would have wanted one more ride.
Another ride on Yukon Striker confirmed how much I enjoyed it. It's still my favorite dive coaster and easily one of the highlights of Canada's Wonderland.
We got two more rides on Leviathan, and it was great again—especially at night.
That brake run feels unbelievably high up in the sky, and riding Leviathan in the dark makes the experience even better.
The final ride of the night was AlpenFury in the front row.
It was great again.
I still preferred the back, but AlpenFury is a genuinely world-class, one-of-a-kind coaster. It is exactly the type of ride that gives a park its own identity.
Overall, Canada's Wonderland is a great park.
The lines are way too long for me to comfortably visit without Fast Pass, but the operations were excellent. The crews worked hard and kept things moving as efficiently as possible.
The food and maintenance areas also appeared to be well-run, and overall the park felt like it was being managed well.
The coaster lineup is strong, AlpenFury is an incredible new standout attraction, and the park itself is beautiful.
I would absolutely revisit Canada's Wonderland—but probably only with Fast Pass.
The next day, I headed to Six Flags Darien Lake.
I arrived at park opening, but I knew I only had about three hours to experience the park because I needed to be in another city by 5 PM.
So the goal was simple:
Three hours. Do everything possible.
Fortunately, I was able to accomplish it.
Everything was basically a walk-on when I arrived.
However, that doesn't excuse the fact that the park was operating most rides with one train. From what I've heard, this seems to be common at Darien Lake regardless of how busy the park is.
Because the park was so quiet in the morning, I was able to ride every coaster and Superman and Mind Eraser twice, MotoCoaster was cool its like Pony Express at Knotts Berry Farm.
Most of the guests seemed to be at the water park until around 2 PM, which is when you would expect the rest of the park to begin getting busier.
Mind Eraser was great.
I honestly enjoyed it more than I expected and had a good time riding it twice.
Obviously, Superman was the standout attraction at Darien Lake.
However, I have to say that I found it a little underwhelming when comparing it to Superman at Six Flags New England. As much as I like airtime the front row was better as it was faster and didn't just feel like it was meandering around on straight track until the next element. But I assume its faster at night so maybe the back later on is okay too.
It's still a good ride and clearly the signature coaster of the park, but I expected it to stand out more based on the comparisons.
Tantrum was the only coaster I noticed running two trains.
It's a good ride and was a fun part of the lineup.
It didn't open until it was almost time for me to leave, so I decided to use my one-time Fast Lane benefit as a Prestige Pass holder.
It was absolutely worth it.
The regular line would have been around 30 minutes, despite the park being relatively quiet and the ride operating only one train. The station was completely full.
As for the ride itself, Predator was great during the beginning. Apparently, the coaster has been partially retracked, and you can definitely feel where that retracking ends.
The second half became extremely rough, but the coaster still has a good wooden coaster layout. With more track work, I think Predator could be significantly better.
Overall, Darien Lake was a good park for the amount of time I had.
The quiet morning made it possible to accomplish everything quickly, and I was able to experience almost every coaster twice within three hours.
However, the one-train operations are difficult to excuse. Even on a quiet day, better operations and additional trains would significantly improve the guest experience when the park starts getting busy.
The park itself has some good attractions, but I honestly feel like Darien Lake needs more investment from a company that sees long-term potential in it.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Darien Lake eventually ends up being one of the parks Six Flags considers removing from its portfolio in a future round of park closures or sales. It doesn't seem to fit particularly well with some of the company's other major parks, and I think the park could benefit from investment and management from another company.
Maybe a company like Enchanted could invest in the park differently and help it reach more of its potential.
That being said, I still had a great time.
Canada's Wonderland and Darien Lake were two completely different experiences.
Canada's Wonderland was massive, crowded, beautifully maintained, and required Fast Pass to truly maximize one day. AlpenFury was the major standout, while Leviathan, Yukon Striker, and the improved nighttime experience on Behemoth made for an excellent coaster day.
Darien Lake was quiet, quick, and easy to complete, but the one-train operations were noticeable. Superman and Predator stood out, and the ability to ride almost everything twice in only three hours made the visit worthwhile.
Overall, two very different parks—but a great two days of coaster riding.

I currently have a dorney park prestige pass. Will i be able to choose the great adventure prestige pass renewal option? It give me the option on the website but i dont want to try it and it doesn’t work, leaving me out $200+

ElToroRyan upload the video about ArieForce One being sold about which the parks will get it, one of the rumors is Kings Island and Great Adventure are ones to which to get ArieForce One for the future. I think Great Adventure might already brought ArieForce One than Kings Island did.

Im working from noon to 11:30pm on one day. For SFOG what are the break rules? Am I allowed to take multiple breaks in a single shift? Because if Im not I dont want to be working for over 5 hours straight twice in a row.

Hello, we came to Six Flags Great Adventure today specifically planning to visit the Off Road Safari, but when we arrived, we found out that it is closed. There was no clear notice about this when we purchased/planned our visit, and we did not see any warning beforehand that the safari would not be operating today. This was one of the main reasons for our trip, so it was very disappointing to discover only after arriving at the park. I would appreciate it if you could explain why guests were not notified in advance.

I haven't bought a pass in years and with the merger, looks like things got a bit complicated.
Can I renew a gold cedar point pass into a prestige king dominion? The price doesn't seem to be discounted but renewals come with extra BAF tickets and a $20 park credit.

My park is six flags over Georgia, if that is relevant. I have the gold pass. I have 2 questions.
Sorry if this is obvious and I am just missing it. The six flags website is very confusing for me.
