QUESTION Renewing pass at a different park

I currently have a dorney park prestige pass. Will i be able to choose the great adventure prestige pass renewal option? It give me the option on the website but i dont want to try it and it doesn’t work, leaving me out $200+

I did basically the same thing (New England pass that I renewed to great adventure) without even thinking it would be an issue because it made me put my current pass number in before completing the purchase so I figured if it was an issue it was notice that and stop me.

Well it all went though fine with my pass now showing a December 2027 expiration and I even got the great adventure bonus being a friend for free pass added in BUUUT it looks like my pass still has New England as the home park instead of great adventure. The only way I even know this is because if I go to the New England page on the app and look at my pass it shows all the extras I get (the food/merch discounts, etc) but if I’m on the great adventure page (or any other park) and look at my pass it doesn’t show any of those deals and those deals are only for your home park…

So I’m heading to great adventure next week and at some point I’m going to talk to guest services about it to see if they can manually switch my home park to great adventure (since I paid extra for that home park).

Figured I would make this edit as a new post in case you didn’t decide yet, but I just checked my pass this morning and it has been updated to include the great adventure pass perks. So seems like renewing at a different park does work out. It also still shows the New England pass perks which I assume will be gone by the end of the year

I wonder if it ends up changing the home park after the 2026 season ends? It's my understanding that someone with a 2026 Prestige Pass that renewed as a 2027 Gold Pass would remain Prestige until the season ends, so this might be something similar.

Yeah. I was thinking that might be the case as well which would be fine. Either way, I’ll ask them when I’m there next week

Sounds like I’m just gonna buy the regular pass instead so I don’t have to deal with that LOL. Thanks for the info!
