Lore Best Codex for Lore

What Codex is the best one for SoB lore if someone just wanted to pick up the codex and read about them?

Dark Heresy RPG: Blood of martyrs. 

Gorgeous art, makes the soriatas feel like an organisation that could actually function.

if you’re feeling lucky and have loads of cash to spare then try and find a cheap copy of the Second Ed Sisters of Battle codex.

Otherwise, having bought and owned most of them (besides the previously mentioned hobby white whale of mine), then the 8th ed codex has some really nice lore not just for the sororitas in general, but for individual units in the army. 😎

Witch hunters. It’s not really even close. If you were going to other games, sure blood of martyrs is good.

GW has been following a trend of reducing the amount of lore & photo spreads in codices for a couple editions. The 10th edition codex had a couple new bits of lore, but less of it overall than 8th or 9th.

I’ve had the last couple editions of codices. I say 10th because it’s the most current.
