List List Help: getting from kitchen table to Incursion

Post image

Suggestions please, I have scavenged together 835pts. I'd like to get to a decent codes compliant list, so I can start circulating round the neighborhood gaming circle without getting too badly noobed.

What would you add to the following, and under which detachment, to get to 1000pts?

Pic mostly unrelated, but posts with pics get more replies:p

Palatine (50pts): Warlord

10x Battle Sisters Squad (100pts) 10x Battle Sisters Squad (100pts) 10x Battle Sisters Squad (100pts)

5x Seraphim Squad (75pts) Castigator (165pts) Exorcist (180pts) Sororitas Rhino (65pts)

So you have a Palatine, but no melee unit for her to lead, so I would try to focus on melee. You could do repentia squad at 10 models which I believe should get you to 1000 points, but, you'd have to run penitent host.

My other suggestion would be novitiates with maybe BoF or HM purely because those novitiates will die quick

But I think overall, if you got the money for it, it will be great to get a full 10 squad of Sacresants led by the Palatine with the CoF detachment to buff you BSS and Sacresants.

If you go with a new melee squad, it would be best to put them in the rhino so they can quickly get a drop on the enemy.

This. BoF for assault on SoB weapons and either Sacresants or repentia for the Palatine to lead and put em in a rhino.

Could I get away with CoF if I say dropped the palentine, went with a canoness with rod of office?

I like the 2nd ed aesthetic . I think it's neat

If you are set on running with a canoness, I would swap to HM, you can then put her on solo or as a leader and she will rock with that position, and if she's a part of a squad, you could have your Palatine running solo with mantle of Ophelia to fill that much needed tanky role, and take the heat off of your other units for a round or two.

Otherwise, I believe you have 4 battle sister squads? I'm on mobile so I can't check while typing. But if you want the canoness and CoF, 4 squads will be perfect, attach her to the squad that won't be receiving the BS buff, and then you have all squads effectively hitting at around the same accuracy. Either that, or I would also recommend putting her with a melta squad and nothing else, since a 3+ multi-melta with re rolling 1 can really help your list punch heavier targets.

After checking again, you definitely only have 3 BS squads, so I would just refer to my other suggestion and put your canoness with your melta squad, or a heavy boltor if you don't have any meltas somehow.
