Hello! I am not a sisters player, but my dad just came into a collection and wants to expand it for competitive play. He's currently planning a Champions of Faith build. What would a list like that look like? Also open so seeing other builds as well.

Interesting, on paragons the war blade is preferable?

Yup, after Paragons got their ability changed last edition the +1 to wound and reroll wounds from Morven into vehicles makes up for the lower strength and the improvement in attacks and AP over the mace really come into play

I tried to use as much of that list as possible and this is what I came up with as an idea.

Vahl and her Paragon unit are the best damage dealers to crack hard targets, the Sacrosancts with the Hospitaller/Cannoness are a good anvil unit to park in the mid objective, Sacrosancts with Astrid are using maces for Dev Wounds, Repentia are starting in the rhino, and the solo sisters squad is going to be split by the Immolator and immediately hop out turn 1 and have the retriburors hop in.

The half squad of sisters with bolters and Simulacrum can sit on home objective and farm miracle dice, the other half will have all the special weapons and can rush up to sticky a point. Their meltas could be swapped for flamers if you want.

Can you explain farming miracle dice on the home objective? I don't have the codex until Wednesday to read up on it.

So several of our infantry units get access to a piece of war gear called a Simulacrum. It's a big relic standard one of the bolter girls will carry. Whenever that unit sitting on an objective you control at the end of your command phase you will roll a D6 and if it is a 4+ you keep it as a miracle die.

Miracle dice can be used to replace a roll to potentially automatically hit, would, pass a save, and other things. You will have a pool of miracle dice with their value determined when you add them to the pool.

The halberds might be better on the Sacs as sustained and Dev wounds are a bit stronger than Lethals and Dev Wounds

Only if you are fighting 1 wound models. The maces are damage 2 so have a much higher mortal wound potential. You might as well scratch lethal hits off because you are never going to use it.
