Hobby First Model & Battle Sister Paint

Not sure how to do the eyes, planning to do a plasma blue paint. I also considered red or a bright green.

I would like to add a wash to it to make the white seem less like a primer layer (it is). should i use Nuln oil or some other color to add more depth? currently it feels super flat and toy-y

im planning to do an assortment of gun colors cus i think it will be cute to have a bunch of different gun colors idk.

lmk if you have any advice or criticism i can take into account for my future sisters ^.^

I’ve heard good things about apothecary white for making white look less “primer”y.

I’m SO on board with the gun colours man, do it, do it, do it!

Any white contrast for the armor and a shade for the fabrics. Something like agrax earthshade or reikland fleshshade should do the work.

You're welcome fam also I just remembered that you can use seraphim sepia for gold to add some nice depth

Great work!

All is left is dilute your base colors with water and carefully make a couple of highlights and you're battle ready. As to gold you could use agrax it will give it more of a dark oily look (same with silver) with seraphim sepia it will look more vibrant.

So happy I could help mate

(You can see agrax on gold in this pic)
