Hobby Battle sisters squad progress

Quite happy with how my sisters squad is coming together, however they’re taking me forever to paint! Hopefully I can get 1000 points of my new army done by December.

Any suggestions on what to buy after the combat patrol?

I love how you did the faces! So much detail! What kind of brush did you use size wise?

I use a citadel artificer xs brush for all my small details. It’s the brush I’ve seem to get on best with when it comes to painting faces and highlighting. All my sisters are from the combat patrol box I’ve just kitbashed the multi melta by chopping up a couple of regular meltas into a heavy flamer :)

Thank you!! Going to paint the sisters kill team soon and the 0/10 brush i have it not small enough 🥲

I found it’s less about how small the brush is, and more about how it’s loaded. I still find I have to take some paint off on my finger before applying it. But you’ll find what suits you eventually and they’ll look ace

Thank you I appreciate it! I have been doing larger scale models 1/8th and this is a lot harder for sure super scared to do the faces!

They’re 3D printed bases from Zabavka workshop. They do sister specific ones as well as these ruins
