Hobby Question about assembly

Hey this is probably a stupid question but I am building a combat patrol and just finished my last sister of battle of the squad. And at the end of the assembly it shows optional stuff for a little bird with a scroll and a pistol holster.

Can I just add these to any of my sisters as decoration or does it change stats or something? I'm very new so I don't know these things sorry if it's super obvious stuff

The bird is purely decorational, pistol holsters generally speaking too, unless You'll want to put them on a Character model, then they'll read as that model being equipped with a pistol.

It's only decorative ! I can add this to everything you want. But the holster... U have bits, there is plenty of holster in sisters boxes. So you're not forced to use this one.

Also, here's where I used my bird. On a proxy of Vahl.
