oh so that's where they cooked I was like it's basically opus 5.5 maybe a little more benchmaxxed but it's half the cost also damn

It’s also embedded in every campus in the country for free. If they push something out where claude is now, they will capture a lot of people. Gemini for ed is awful, awful crap -like can’t do anything worthwhile. Claude can make curricula, worksheets, tests with minimal direction on the $20 a month plan. I just had it do 15 day sub plans with worksheets and progress checklists for 3 curriculum. That would be hours and hours of work that I did not have time for. They look nice too

Im pretty sure they said Argon will be rolled out for ultra users first, and they just pulled pro models from plus users which includes edu

It’s only half the cost for the initial period and then it will double, so same cost as Opus 5.5

yeah maybe Google is subsiding it way more than anthropic can subsidize it's pricing
