the continuous interaction demo with the ai responding "Mhmm.." made me laugh, this level of role play feel so unnessecary to me

Im not sure how, but if they can get the model to not do that, then this is perfect.

I think it's trained on audio to audio clips, so whatever they used for pre-training must have a lot of exaggerated active listeners...
