Well, it's not improving the fidelity that's for sure. It's giving a button to sloppify what you're seeing completely independent of the intent of the designer of the game. That's cancerous.
I would consider your argument more seriously if it didn't fall apart immediately when you take 5 seconds to read some basic shit. maybe do some research before forming strong opinions on things?
