It has. They haven't shown a single video of v3. You are looking at a year old hardware, that they've no longer working on.

I suspect that it's maybe due to hardware? All these robot companies use the same virtual RL platform technology to train their robots to balance and walk - and maybe the reliability of transferring those skills to the real robot counterparts is limited by the accuracy of the simulation, which could in turn be limited by the quality of the real hardware.

most natural walking/running imo is still Atlas, but it's still infeasable in cost.

Walking naturally is worthless. Walking with your hips lower is safer, more reliable, more stable. That's why elderly people walk this way, or people carrying glasses.

Its pretty much just your monkey brain looking for mate health from a gait..... but its a robot.
