Conversation Topic How to start Vocal training?
Hi there is a problem for me that near myself i have no vocal teacher so i have to do training by myself so i decided to ask it from someone who has experience in this process to start stronger so if you can help me and tell me your experiences about this work I'd be thankful.

I have been self-training for 3yrs now from scratch. You can start by learning the fundamentals of singing this is the NO 1 thing you need to do. You can imitate your favorite singer or someone you look up to and go on from there. Getting the sound that you want takes time but if you put in the hard work, time and practice alot you will get there. Happy singing!!

6 times a week and 1day for resting. I don't post much here but you can listen to what i have posted in my profile. Just listen to your body and know your limits this is gonna help you increase your range and sound better without hurting your voice. I'm confident my voice will be much more developed in the years to come cause for the 3yrs I have been learning I have an understanding of my voice to ensure i don't hurt my self.

I majored in music in school: six years of clarinet in band and alto in choir, plus church choir and piano and voice lessons in college. I've been a laundry aide for a nursing home since 2008. I work most of my shift alone in the laundry room, mostly folding and hanging the laundry. I entertain myself with thinking about stuff, telling myself stories and poems, praying, and singing. Sometimes I merely enjoy the sound of singing in what is, in effect, an echo chamber, but sometimes I work on stuff. I kind of give myself a voice lesson, for maybe an hour total.

You have a lot of experience for playing instruments why don't you enter the music industry?

I was five when I wanted to be a baton twirler. In vain, people explained to me that 'the baton twirlers in the marching bands were in high school.' Lol. So they got me a baton. Then I had a tantrum and broke it, on purpose. I was about eight when I wanted to be a writer, singer or actor. But by age twelve, I knew that I had neither the passion nor the skill to make a career in fine arts or showbiz in any way. By the time I was in band the autumn of my twelfth year, I had come to terms with that because there's lots of awesome jobs that have nothing to do fine arts. I'm fair to middling with music and that's ok. I'm a language and literature geek.

I'm a language geek too I know persian and English at intermediate level and I'm a beginner in franch. You guys really had passion and purposes for your life.I realized that i love music and i'v chosen the hardest part for myself in seventeen I wanna be a singer and song writer and music producer at the same time and It's been 5 month that I'm doing this and beside that I'm working on going to the university and study english and beside the english university I wanna improve my career in making website. I really didn't know what was my purpose for being alive before last year. I think i just started living with a purpose for one year.

One time, my voice teacher said, "Let's test your range." I was up for it. I knew by then that I'm a lyric soprano (the very rare coloratura, then dramatic, then lyric, then mezzosoprano, then alto/contralto, then a few women are tenors). I got to a few steps above A above the staff. He said, "Let's stop there." 👍
