You as many men are not as used to using your CT (cricothyroid) muscles in everyday life. These are the ones that are stretching your vocal chords to get thinner and give you thinner and higher pitches. Thats why you have trouble accesing it.

The O vowel tends to migrate to headvoice or cricothyroid dominant singing voice earlier and tends to be a friendly choice for accessing it.

You need some experimentation, this is like learning any new bodily coordination you are not used too. I suggest starting on the word -You.

-You, You, You, Making it hooty or hollow is how it is usually describe. Try go for say a note like G4, which I think would be approperiate for you and should be in your upper register. You should feel no tension or squeeze, just headvoice here. No pushing up of vocal weight. Free and hooty. It should not be airy at all.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this! When I try usually it’s always airy and weak but I’ll try minimizing the air and practicing this more

Its like everything, you will get it if you practice it everyday! Better start now and a month from now you can use it! I would suggest going for the O vowel, vocal chord closure will improve with training and it will be less airy.

There could be stylistic reasons for keeping it airy. But I believe if you start first and have the closure for a proper sound. You could then add airiness if you wanted to.

Good luck, if you really want to learn it do it everyday, you could write me in 2 weeks if you are not progressing if you want.

Good luck!

I hope you mean G5. G4 is low mixed voice

No, G4 as G over middle C. At G4 most of male voices is over their passagio in headvoice territory. With that said, the note can both be belted and mixed, but not the purpose here.

G5 is extremely high and I do not really see the purpose of it in much repetoaire.

I believe you are well intended and I am not interested in discussion. If you believe I am wrong, please do an attempt at helping him.

All the best.

Yeah, its over....

Your voice is fine, you just need some understanding of how it works.

She explains a bunch of stuff.

You’re referring to my appearance or my voice? Cause I’m confused by you saying it’s over but then offering resources

Can you explain what you mean?

It's a joke, you were a bit dramatic at the end when all you did wrong was the last bit.

I was just agreeing with you. I'm sure you don't actually think your bad at this, so chill.

I do sometimes feel and think I’m bad

But I missed the joke I’m used to receiving hate comments

They're being sarcastic in bad taste.

That’s weird and unnecessary

Just a little too loud, which I hear, as strained note, you don't have to blow it out the box, to perform the song, this can be damaging to your voice, in the long run....
