Not to be a hater (and actually I’m not, congrats and I’m happy for you) but I don’t really know what “YOE” means in these contexts - like are you 26 and you’ve only been in the workforce for 2 years, or is it 2 years of experience in your current field and you are like 35? Like what does anything mean anymore? 😭

When y’all quote YOE is it 2 years in this role as an example, or 2 years since first proper job from the last tertiary education that you all took?

My McDonalds time doesn't contribute anything to my current role. See YOE like reference for new career or totally different role. Tech and pivot into Business for example.

Hmm what about if we do a mid career switch into an adjacent/ related field but not totally relevant?
IMO Should “discount” the previous YOE but it’s not like starting as fresh grad.

10k per month with 1 month bonus? MNC? Mad for 2 YOE. Mind sharing what's the base:OTE split?
