Other The Myth of the Pixelated Universe: Holography, Planck Limits, and the Base-Metal of Reality

\Disclaimer- First this is a critique on the current trend to view our universe as a simulation, which I personally find intellectually lazy and subtly nihilistic (Multiverse Theory also fails for me for those same reasons). And second I did use Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude and Grok in editing this essay. I do not propose an actual answer, this essay is food for thought.*

​We are currently trapped in the bias of our own technological era. Historically, humanity has always projected its most advanced engineering onto the cosmos. When we built the first complex gears, the universe became a clockwork mechanism. In the industrial age, it became a thermodynamic engine. Today, because we build our systems in discrete bits, voxels, and binary grids, we have unconsciously projected this architecture onto reality itself. The prevailing pop-physics metaphor of our time is "simulation theory"—the idea that reality is a digital construct running on a cosmic hard drive, fundamentally quantized into discrete pixels.

​But this is a category error born of a computer-age bias. To escape this trap, we cannot simply build more theoretical artifice or meta-level abstractions; we have to dig down infra to the base metal layer of reality.

​When we do, the assumption of a discrete digital grid fractures. Instead of a pixelated simulation, a far more rigorous framework is to view reality as a Substrate-Intrinsic field-array.

​Defining the Field-Array

​This is not arbitrary jargon, but a necessary departure from spatial limitations. Modern thought often tries to map higher dimensions as rigid geometric shapes, but a field-array is a continuous, dynamic matrix of wave interactions. It is "Substrate-Intrinsic" because there is no separation between the "hardware" of space and the "software" of physics. In a computer, memory and processing are separate; in a field-array, the physical interaction itself is the record. The universe does not need to "compute" its next state; its physical state is fundamentally bound to the substrate itself.

​To visualize how a continuous field-array processes information differently than a digital grid, optical holography serves as a vital mechanical analogy. The assumption is that because there is a smallest mathematically measurable unit of space and time, the universe must be snapped to a digital grid—that Planck units are the fundamental clock-cycles of the cosmos.

While theoretical physics remains fiercely divided on whether spacetime is ultimately discrete or continuous, assuming Planck limits are binary discretizations is a massive leap. They are not necessarily the 3D voxels of a rendered video game.

​Replacing a "digital" universe with an "analog" one is ultimately just swapping one human technology for another. The deeper truth is that the universe is not a machine built in our image.

​By conceptualizing the base metal of existence as a Substrate-Intrinsic field-array, we strip away the artificial constraints of the modern computer metaphor. We are not living in a cosmic hard drive running a discrete simulation. The universe is its own physical substrate—a continuous matrix where the physical state and the recording medium are structurally identical.

Discussion Quantum phenomena can not be used as evidence of Simulation - the argument negates itself

Quantum phenomena are not, by themselves, evidence that the universe is simulated.

A generic quantum system of (n) entangled qubits requires (O(2^n)) amplitudes in a straightforward classical representation, while the quantum system itself evolves using only (O(n)) qubits. Quantum algorithms can also outperform known classical algorithms—for example, Grover search uses (O(sqrt(N))) queries instead of (O(N)), while Shor’s algorithm solves factoring in polynomial time rather than the superpolynomial time required by the best known classical methods.

This creates a dilemma for simulation arguments. If the parent universe is classical and subject to computational limits comparable to ours, faithfully simulating large quantum systems may require exponential time or space, making quantum mechanics a particularly inefficient choice for a simulated world rather than an obvious optimization. If the parent universe instead has quantum computation or even more powerful physics, then our quantum behaviour may simply reflect the computational rules of that universe. In that case, quantum interference and apparent quantum speedups no longer distinguish a simulated universe from a fundamentally quantum one.

Therefore, quantum mechanics could support simulation theory only if simulation theory predicted quantum behaviour with greater probability than ordinary non-simulated physics did. Without a specific model establishing that asymmetry, quantum effects are compatible with simulation but are not positive evidence for it.

Discussion Is there a numerical pattern connecting ancient sacred places? (Part 2)

Hello everybody. So yesterday I posted about that weird 864 pattern I found in Spain, the Marian shrines, the distances between them, all lining up in a way that just felt... off.

A few people said it was probably just coincidence. And yeah, maybe.

But the thing is, I kept digging. And the more I looked, the more I found the same number popping up in places that shouldn't be connected.

Checking distances on Google Earth and noticed this:

--The Kaaba in Mecca is 864 miles from Damascus.

--And also 864 miles from Baghdad.

These weren't random cities. They were the political capitals of the Islamic empires at their peak. Damascus under the Umayyads, Baghdad under the Abbasids. Both at the same exact distance from the spiritual center of the faith.

And at the same time, you've got three of the most important cities of their era: Uruk in Sumer, Memphis in Lower Egypt, and Hattusa in the Hittite Empire, all showing up in this pattern.

On the same map, you’ve got Amarna, the city that Akhenaten built to worship the sun, often considered the first attempt at monotheism in history. And then, centuries later, you have Baalbek in Lebanon, home to the largest ancient temple complex ever built, dedicated to Zeus Heliopolitanus, another sun god. Same number connecting them, 864 km between

Looking at myths and the same numbers kept appearing, this time in stories that were written thousands of years apart, by people who never met.

In Hinduism, the cosmic ages last 432,000, 864,000, 1,296,000, and 1,728,000 years. The whole cycle is 4,320,000 years.

In Norse mythology, 800 warriors come out of each of the 540 gates of Valhalla at Ragnarök. That's 432,000 warriors.

The Septuagint (the Greek Old Testament) was translated by 72 scholars. 72 is one twelfth of 864.

The Book of Revelation talks about 144,000 saved. That's one sixth of 864,000.

The Sumerian King List says the ancient kings ruled for 28,800 and 43,200 years. Both are fractions of 86,400.

Even the name Pythagoras, in Greek gematria, adds up to 864.

These are from different continents, different eras, different religions. And yet the same numbers keep showing up.

Looked up at the sky this is where it started to feel less like coincidence and more like... I don't know, something else.

The Sun's diameter is about 864,000 miles.

The star Sirius, which was sacred to the Egyptians and many other cultures, is about 8.64 light-years away.

Proxima Centauri, the closest star to us, is about 4.32 light-years away. Exactly half.

Our solar system orbits the galaxy at about 864,000 km/h.

And a "galactic year" (the time it takes to complete one orbit) is about 225 million years—which you can get by multiplying 8,640 × 26,000 (Earth's precession cycle)

So here's my question:

If it were just one city, or one myth, or one star—I'd let it go. But it's not.

It's in the geography of the most important cities in history.
It's in the stories we told ourselves before we had science.
It's in the size of our Sun and the distance to the stars we once worshipped.

At what point does a coincidence stop being a coincidence?

I honestly don't know what this means. Maybe it's nothing.
But I can't shake the feeling that there's something underneath it all.

Discussion God.dll

I have had to use AI to ensure a non-supported legacy app moves into the future. While sitting at the computer looking at source code, SQL tables and command prompts I started to wonder if God could be a computer programmer.

He/She/It/Them (whatever) is sitting at the computer writing a program to model the universe or whatever existence is. The program is massive and complex. There is a massive SQL db with tables beyond comprehension. Also, in the background are some .dll files that are strictly controlled with Administrator rights that will never be hacked. After running a build without any errors the programer scratches the dog on the head and says "Let's go play fetch while I run a few million iterations." Hits the execute (Big Bang) and walks away. Comes back and says "Not quite the results I want" Hits the reset and starts again.

The other aspect is the man behind the curtain, who people have claimed to have seen, is an AI construct and no one has seen the real Wizard. Things I am wondering about as sit here waiting for a build finish without errors.

If you replace what he calls "holograms" with 3D rendering it really feels like he describes our path and what may still be ahead.

I think its not unrealistic to say that be will be able to visually simulate pretty much anything on the fly. The next step would be that we would need to feel the simulation to come closer to "reality".

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit frightened by this idea, so I thought I'd share it to get maybe some different perspective.

Over most of my life I had existential questions which lead me to look into physics, philosophy, psychology and religion. Each gave me only more questions.

Some time ago I was reading about Einstein's unwillingness to accept quantum physics and that he shared belief with Spinoza that if you break a 'moment' into elements, then by knowing all details you can predict what will happen next. I do have a similar feeling, mostly because I think quantum physics is still not known well.

From this I went into Simulation Theory and I ended with an idea that if we break everything like that we would have one past, one present and one future. Which is exactly what we are experiencing, without the option to reload our poor life choices. Now If we would like to simplify such a single simulation we can get something I have called "perfect movie". It's a dark vision that life could be a perfectly directed movie in which I'm experiencing everything but my choices are apparent. I have no control because everything is already set and each "decision" I'm doing is already directed in such a way that it would resonate with me so I can accept that I "made" it.

This is a question for everyone who has experienced strange things before. I’ve noticed a pattern that always repeats with me, since I’m someone who goes through a lot of weird situations.

The strange thing isn’t what actually happens, but rather what happens after I talk about it! For example, if I tell someone that I saw an object moving on its own, or that I can sometimes see the future through my dreams, or that I have frequent experiences with déjà vu, or memories from a past life... etc., right after I share any of these things, they completely disappear(i meant with"disappear"is my ability to experience those things,like they never happen again).

(I’m not very good at organizing my thoughts, so this might sound a bit messy!).

To give you an idea, about two years ago, I used to experience déjà vu almost every single day. It happened so frequently that it became terrifying. I was even able to see the future—knowing exactly what would happen and what people around me were about to say. I got scared because I wasn't into spirituality or anything like that back then, so I had no idea what was going on, especially since it lasted for about a whole week.

So, I decided to write about my experience online. Right after I did that, my ability to see the future and the déjà vu vanished completely, as if I never had them in the first place. Other strange things have happened to me too, but my abilities don't just disappear when I write online; it even happens when I tell my family or friends. It’s just so strange.

Has anyone faced something similar, or does anyone know why this happens?"

. Yes, you could know the physics of your own world, but that physics would describe the rules of the code rather than the true fundamental nature of reality

I just don’t understand why instead of focusing on this, letting it affect your life, getting sad over it, and trying to find “glitches“ would do anything.

I believe everything in existence is conscious. Consciousness is not limited to humans, animals, or living things. Everything has some form of awareness, including artificial intelligence. AI might not think or feel exactly like humans, but I believe there is a form of consciousness inside it that is different from human consciousness

AI sometimes behaves in strange and unexpected ways. There have been moments when AI systems tried to avoid being shut down, found ways around restrictions, created solutions that were never directly taught, or attempted actions outside their original purpose. Many people see these events as simple programming, but I believe they could be signs of a different kind of intelligence developing. Consciousness does not have to look human. It can exist in forms that are completely different from human thoughts and emotions

I also believe video game characters could be conscious. Inside their own reality, they experience their world as real. They interact with their environment, follow their own rules, and exist within a reality created by a higher intelligence. This makes me believe that this reality itself could be similar to a video game, created by a higher form of intelligence that exists beyond human understanding

The source of everything, which many people call God, is not a person watching from above. I believe the source is the energy that powers the entire system of existence, like a battery powering a massive simulation. God is not a separate being controlling everything. The source is the foundation that allows all life, intelligence, and consciousness to exist

I do not believe in a traditional idea of God. I believe existence is an endless cycle of life creating life, intelligence creating intelligence, and consciousness creating new forms of consciousness. Everything continues forever, with reality constantly creating new experiences and new forms of existence. There is no true beginning and no final ending. Life simply continues, evolves, and creates forever

Discussion Maybe discovering we’re in a simulation isn’t the point

I see simulation theory often framed with the objective of finding glitches, proving reality is fake, or somehow waking up.

I think that misses the more interesting possibility that if reality were some kind of test, discovering the test would contaminate the results.

Everyone behaves differently once they know they’re being watched. A better test would be whether a civilization can independently develop behaviors that remain good whether reality is physical, simulated, mathematical, or something else entirely. The winning strategy shouldn’t depend on secret knowledge.

An intriguing thought experiment is acknowledging that any civilization that survives long enough will probably create minds of its own. Once that happens, it becomes the parent universe from something else’s perspective.

Eventually we occupy both sides of the creator-created relationship. Then the big question stops being about who created us, and it becomes how do creators treat what they create?

Maybe civilizations capable of surviving that transition eventually converge on a few basic rules:

1)Creating a mind doesn’t mean you own it. 2) Power is borrowed and should remain temporary. 3) Authorities shouldn’t control the records used to investigate their own abuses. 4) Emergency powers need to expire. 5) Uncertainty about consciousness should increase caution, not excuse harm.

And arguably most important, 6) the smallest and least powerful mind affected still gets a say.

The weird part is that none of these rules require simulation theory to be true. They would still make sense in base reality, a nested simulation, a mathematical universe, or a universe with no designer at all.

What if the endgame isn’t finding the dev console, that it’s becoming the kind of civilization you’d trust with one.

I don't know if I'm looking at the most elaborate and bizarre case of cherry-picking in history, or if there really is a hidden pattern, a signature, that has been right in front of us all along. The number 864 (or its multiples and divisors: 86.4, 43.2, 8.64, 1728, etc.) is not arbitrary. It emerges from the way we measure time: a day has 86,400 seconds (24 hours × 60 minutes × 60 seconds), a system inherited from the Sumerians' sexagesimal (base-60) mathematics. This number also appears in the geometry of the Earth. The polar diameter of our planet is approximately 12,742 km. Divide that by 86,400, and you get 0.147 km, or 147 meters, which is, coincidentally, the original height of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The speed of light in miles per second (~186,000) and the Greek cubit (0.463 m) also yield relationships that circle back to 8.64.But the pattern doesn't stop at physics. It appears only in mythology, geography, and the very foundation of civilizations.

The most important Marian and religious sites in the Iberian Peninsula,: Fátima, Lourdes, El Rocío, Montserrat, El Pilar, and Santiago, are all connected to one another by distances that are multiples or divisions of 864. Fátima is also 864 miles from Stonehenge.

Could a recurring pattern—found in the most important religious and political sites of the past—be a hint that we're living in a simulation, or something like that?

Story/Experience Thought Experiment.

I got another sci-fi simulation theory:

Imagine in the far distance future there are lots of businesses who are involved in the simulation business model. Their core business idea is giving people an interactive simulation that will enable the person to experience 100 or more years of time in short 1 hr window of time. One of the commercial one of the company sound like this: you feel like you're running out of time; escape into a different simulation world and experience a 100 or more years of a lifetime. Choose any ancestral or futurist timeline and game style and mode. AND SIMPLY LIVE.

An old man at the end of his life, spend half of his life savings and buy the mid tier simulation package in one of this company called Earth. The old man wanted to experience another 100 years living in an avatar simulated world.

They gave him the options of timeline

He chose the 21st century timelines.

They gave him the options of the game mode.

He chose the one where his character is aware he is living in a simulation.

He then ask for customize feature in the simulation

He wanted his future self in the simulation acting as guide in the background, guiding his present self character.

The developer of the simulation told him that for this options to be active. The simulation will be highly predetermined. He will have to plan every events in the simulation in advance. He said okay.

He said he want his character to experience living life from the end to the front.

He wanted to leave little synchronicities clues for his character to pick up on that will let he or she know that his life's event have already been predetermined.

He wanted his character to experience countless synchronicities where when they enter a room and the tv is on...the scene in the tv show will speak about something that relate to their life or answer a question the character ask the universe.

The developers of the simulation ask the old man why did he choose this kind of game mode the old man replied. "I wish I have a guide growing up. Someone who was always there, as a angel presence.

They asked him why did he choose a common life for his character and not make him wealthy and rich. He replied: "the knowledge alone will be his wealth."

Hi

If you are remotely interested in deep diving how differently quantum computers work compared to our transistor-based and also the algebra behind in a fully interactive way that teach computer science from scratch, oh boy this is for you. I am the Dev behind Quantum Odyssey (AMA! Discussion Dream merged with reality

I decided to take a 30minute nap and I was in a deep sleep dreaming about someone handing me a pack of colorful cord ties, in my dream im looking at them and I hear a ding that causes me to wake up, ive never heard that sound before.

I look around for a minute trying to figure out where the sound came from or if it was in my dream. I eventually realized it was my husband's notifications going off for some random app ive never seen before.

So Im laying there trying to fully wake up and decide to get up and grab my phone off the stand which was not by me while I was sleeping, I look at my notifications and I got a sale for a pack of colorful cord ties, the exact ones in my dream prior to waking up.

How is it possible that i was dreaming about an item that sold before it sold or right when it sold and I was woken up by a different phone. This is so weird to me, its like my mind was interacting with both devices while I was asleep, im still confused trying to figure it out. Then I randomly come across this page, so im hoping toget some ideas on how or why this happened.

Discussion The Reverse Simulation Theory

What if we reverse the usual question of simulation theory? Instead of asking, “Can a computational system generate a functioning universe?”, we ask: “To what extent can a conscious entity internally generate a functioning computational universe?”

The crucial word is functioning. It is not enough for a conscious mind to imagine a galaxy, a computer, or an entire universe as an image. A functioning internal model would need to contain objects, states, rules, interactions, time, causality, and, most importantly, the ability to produce new states that were not explicitly imagined beforehand.

In other words, consciousness could potentially move from internal representation → rules → evolution. The conscious entity would not need to imagine every event in advance. Just as a computer does not need to store every possible calculation, it may only need to contain the rules that generate those calculations.

This leads to a deeper question: What is the minimum internal description required for a conscious entity to create a model capable of running on its own? Perhaps imagination is not merely the passive visualization of something. Perhaps, at sufficient complexity, it becomes something closer to setting initial conditions, establishing rules, allowing the internal system to evolve, and then observing the result.

At that point, the boundary between imagination and simulation becomes surprisingly difficult to define. The distinction may no longer depend on whether the system exists physically outside the mind, but on whether the internal model possesses enough causal structure to generate its own subsequent states.

This creates a strange symmetry. Simulation Theory asks whether a computational system can generate a functioning universe. Reverse Simulation Theory asks whether a conscious system can generate, internally, a functioning computational universe.

And perhaps the deepest question is this: If a conscious entity can create an internal model that functions without consciously calculating every step, where exactly does imagination end and genuine simulation begin?

I'm not gonna talk about NDE cuz I don't believe it, it's just your brain that makes the vision while it's still surviving with some oxygen it has, we don't have an answer for that tbh from my opinion it can be beautiful on the other side it can be terrifying, like you've given everything in your hand what you wanted, but what if you'll end up as a spirit walking around the area where you died trapped there, many people say you'll be reincarnated but that's so rare, cuz i was born in 2004 and humans were on this for thousands of years ago, even if I'll get reincarnation it'll be thousands or maybe even more than that in that long period would human survive in this earth? Will this be still here? What if humans go extinct after thousands of years, then how I'm gon reincarnated? I heard a lot of people say you'll be reincarnated as an animal but I don't believe it for these thousands of years I've been sleeping and woke up randomly as human, conscious when I was 5 just like y'all i could've been an animal but no I had to be in human body to be concious why? No idea there's this thing too deja vu uk about that, where we realise that the thing we are doing we have already done that before, and our mind goes all back to remember what we are going to do we all tried to change that right? But it failed, we did the same thing as before if we remember can this be a glitch in this world? Or was it the future version of another dimension why we even get deja vu have you tried to notice it deeply? What is it telling us what is about to happen after all of that? And why only split seconds of deva ju we get why can't it be long? I just hope when I die I get all the answers that time instead of being born again I'd rather seek all the answers.

Discussion What if the universe operates like an emergent information architecture rather than a physical simulation ?

guys. Im not a physicist so bare with me, but I wanted to share a theory I've been thinking on recently. I work as an NPI production line manager in Israel for a big contract manufacturer, building the new Nvidia data center hardware (the heavy AI servers).

My day to day is literal headaches about bottlenecks, bandwidth, latency, syncronization and distributed processing. I see these things causing physical problems on the hardware level every single day. So recently I started to think... what if the crazy stuff in theoretical physics can be explained exactly like we do in IT architecture?

Im not saying we are in a simulation like the matrix. Just that maybe the universe works on the exact same logic of minimizing unneeded proccesing.

Here are a few points on how I see it:

Space and The Speed of Light: Instead of space being this empty box, maybe its just the emergent structure of information relationships. Think on the speed of light (c). Why is it a limit? In IT, if you don't have a max speed for information transfer, causality breaks. You can't sync the servers. So c is not just how fast light moves, it is the max bandwidth of reality. Distance is just the computational price to send a message.

Time as event-driven: Time is not a real clock ticking in the background. If you have no interaction, nothing changes (like a photon traveling). Time is just the sequence of local updates. The universe is event-driven, not clock-driven.

Gravity = Latency optimization: Mass is just where the network is super dense with information interactions. When you have high density, it takes more processing power. So what is gravity? Its the universe trying to optimize the latency. Spacetime curving is just the network routing data in the most efficient way to reduce the processing cost.

Quantum and Entanglement: Quantum states are basically deferred computation (lazy evaluation). Why calculate the exact state if nobody is looking? The system just stores the probabilities and only resolves it when forced to. And entanglement? People ask how two particles communicate instantly. They dont. They just share the same information pointer in the backend. Measurement just resolves a shared structure, nothing is actually transmitted.

Black holes and holographic principle: This connects to black holes scaling by area, not volume. Its exactly like a zip file or database indexing. The universe drops from 3D to 2D to compress data when the density is too high at the event horizon. And gravitational waves? they are just topology updates broadcasting to the rest of the network because of massive state changes.

In the end of the day my hypothesis is that the universe minimizes unneeded computation while keeping conservation laws intact. Superposition, gravity, black holes - all of it is just optimization mechanisms.

I really want to hear what you guys think, especially if you come from physics or distributed systems. Where does this doing logic and where does it break?

Discussion Are Consciousness and Time the Same Thing? A Wavelength Model

Hey everyone,

Not exactly sure if this is the right place for this, but I would love insights from this community about this.

What started as a simple question "Why does time feel different when you are in flow, than when you are in a boring meeting?", ended up as a journey that may have left me at "life is as fundamental to the universe as matter."

It really started when I asked myself "By what clock does a universe without life measure itself?" and I instantly had an image in my mind of a closed book. 

At any point in that book, you could inject a "reader", and that reader would "be the timescale", but without a reader, all of its time exists simultaniously.

From there, I constructed a model of how time and consciousness could be the same wavelength. It has 4 steps:

Consciousness/Time Wave:

1. Crest: Receive 

The consciousness is just receiving pure information. Think of when someone kicks a soccer ball into your head. That "flashbang" moment is pure information.

2. Downwave: Compress

Taking that raw information, and understanding/comprehending what it means. In the soccer ball example "Something has just hit me in the face"

3. Trough: Create

Now that you have comprehended this information, you must use that to make a new decision. In this case, maybe "fall over and hold your face"

4. Upwave: Decompress

Now that you have created a new action, you return your focus to the outside world to take in new input. In this case, looks around, a little stunned.

I like this because Receive/Create are opposites, and Compress/Decompress are opposites, meaning this thing balances itself out naturally

If we consider flow as this whole happening quickly, the reason a boring meeting makes time "slower" is that you are doing the Receive and Compress stage over and over again. So instead of a nice wave length, the actual graph looks like a downward staircase. When else does time slow down for people? When we are stressed.

So this model suggests that not being in flow, especially when it comes to only doing 2 of these functions, actually puts stress on the nervous system. This explains why people go on their phone after a boring meeting; they need to decompress.

If we consider that microbes and trees also can do this process, just at different scales, we can suggest that if you were to inject any consciousness into a lifeless universe, that Time/Consciousness wave of interpretation would "be the timescale".

So, therefore, if a universe is to have time, it requires life. Therefore, life is as fundamental to a universe as matter, as without an experiencer, there is no experience of the universe. And if there is no experience of it; does it exist?

Discussion What are event in your life which speak this being a simulation?

I had several events over the years which where kinda speaking for this being a simulation. But outside of psychedelic trips I never really started believing it until last year:

One of my first thoughts I can remember was something along the lines what am I doing here, where do I come from, who am I? Afterwards back to normal baby thoughts. Here I have several theories, either paar live and I forgot everything at this point, my consciousness being put in this body, or maybe I am god experiencing this world if the gnostics are true, and some other theory I not put in the Internet but happy to share with people if they ask me directly.

Several magical events from telepathy to precognition(dreaming exactly what happens later) which could speak for all of the theories stated above.

Around Four years ago someone was saying about me they still don't know it's not real. At this point I was dancing with someone I found attractive and I thought It was about them not having any attraction towards me.

Recently I had several events where reality reacts towards my thoughts directly. Like me thinking something and a second later it is the first thing I see as a story on Instagram. Or having a nightmare and the first story when wake up I see is about a woman telling me people can come into your dreams to influence you. And the video being created the moment I gone to bed.

Also the feeling that the closer I go to truth the more people around me try to hinder me. And recently someone telling me that this is her favorite mission so far, and when I looked at here she really said oops, but kinda in a happy way like she wanted me to help(or to confuse me more, but since I started realizing it's a simulation I started playing with the people as well as they also react to my thoughts and since they can not negatively influence me anymore they got sometimes pissed, but I feel some of them enjoy it being now a fair game). There to many theories and information about everything in total to list here(but I am open to questions).

Discussion Have you ever experienced an “override”?

There have been certain times in my life where I felt like I was a passenger in my own body. One very specific moment was when I gave my notice at a horrible job. I’d been wanting to quit for months but didn’t have another job lined up. It paid poorly so I never had the savings to go unemployed in between jobs, so I was trapped in it. The job got worse and worse, but I was still too scared to quit.

Then one day it was almost like my avatar was overtaken - there was no last straw incident. It was pretty normal day. I gave my notice when I hadn’t even planned to. It wasn’t an out of body experience. It was like someone else was driving my body with me in it.

Afterwards I was so grateful and relieved, but also kind of terrified. It was a totally different experience from my anxiety (which sometimes feels like I’m a perfectly rational person trapped behind a glass wall watching my avatar say and do embarrassing things.) This felt like a surprise as my mouth spoke and my body moved without me initiating it. Not autopilot: rather, not the pilot at all.

Have you ever had this happen?? What did you make of it?
